The results show that companies with D&OLI have lower discretional accruals than companies without D&OLI. Furthermore, this study includes the corporate life cycle as moderator effect. Compared to companies in stagnant stage, the growth and mature companies with D&OLI have higher discretional accruals than those companies without D&OLI.
