隨著科技的進步，國際化的趨勢，企業所面對的是一個日益複雜的經營環境，在激烈的商業競爭下，也宣告著企業獲利的微利時代已經到來，客戶及股東會更嚴格的要求企業，能夠更透明的說明企業的經營狀況。因此企業在經營管理上已經無法藉由只衡量財務面的鬆散架構來面對國際化的競爭，必須針對企業進行多角度的管理，以準確，及時，的分析企業在各方面的績效，避免造成投資浪費，近年來「商業智慧」(Business Intelligence，BI)架構的出現運用了資料分析的工具(Data Warehouse)，以及資料採礦(Data mining)的技術，縮短了企業利用資料來提供決策力的時間，協助決策者能更深入的探索、了解分析資訊，以篩選出有用的資訊、對企業提供資訊進行加值的服務，「商業智慧」企業主要的目的，在於可做企業營運分析、決策支援、決策效應推估，快速反應企業內部營運的關鍵性指標，加強企業決策的速度與品質，讓企業對於現在、過去、未來的狀況皆能做有效的控管。
企業在產業環境變化快速的時代期望藉由商業智慧系統的導入，來獲得即時、完整、可用性高的決策資訊，以便企業決策者在最正確的時候，作最適當的決策，然而導入商業智慧系統對企業來說，往往會花費龐大的金錢以及人力來完成系統導入上線的動作，所以如何有效去衡量該系統所帶來的投資報酬、投資價值、值得進行探討，本研究期望能夠藉由平衡計分卡觀點來找出企業導入商業智慧系統後影響企業績效指標的因素，並比較導入前後績效指標是否改變原因為何，期望能夠對於導入及運用商業智慧系統的企業能夠有所幫助。
本篇論文共分為五個章節，第一章為緒論，說明本研究的動機與研究目的；第二章為文獻探討，介紹績效評估、商業智慧系統、平衡計分卡，於企業內的運用；第三章為研究方法，說明本研究的研究架構、研究設計、研究方法與執行過程及研究流程；第四章為個案分析，針對個案公司導入商業智慧系統背景做說明以及比較商業智慧系統導入前後對績效指標的影響，原因探討與分析；第五章為結論與後續研究建議。

Abstract

As great progress of the technology and international tendency, the industry is facing more and more complicated operating circumstance. Under the intense commercial competition, the time for the industry to make less profit is coming. The customers and stockholders more strongly ask the industry to supply the operating situation more clearly. In the operating administration, so the industry can only not depend on the financial measures to face the international competition. The administrators have to supply the more accurate real time analysis for the overall administration and performance, and they also have to avoid the waste of the investment. Recently, the conception of Business Intelligence appears, and use the tool of Data Warehouse and the technology of Data mining. It can reduce the time to supply the information to the decision for the industry, and help the decision maker can explore deeper and comprehend the meanings of the analysis, and filtering the useful information also can help the industry to supply the valuable service. The main purpose of Business Intelligence for the industry is to supply the operating analysis, decision support, and the evaluation of the decision benefit, and can rapidly respond the key point of the inside operation. To strengthen the speed and quality of making decision, is for the industry to do the effective administration from the past, now to the future.

At the age of the changing circumstances, the industry hope to lead the Business Intelligence system to obtain the real time, complete and usable information for decision, and make the right decision on the right time for decision makers. However, it always costs lots of money and efforts to accomplish the system for leading into online, so it deserves to be discussed to measure the investment returns and values. For this research, I hope that we can find the elements of the influential performance pointers after leading the Business Intelligence system by Balanced Scorecard, and compare the reasons that are changed between the before and the after leading the system, and anticipate that it will be helpful for the industry to lead and perform this system.

There are 5 chapters in this paper. Chapter 1 : Motivation and purpose. Chapter 2 : Reference, introducing the operating situation of Performance assessment、Business Intelligence system、Balanced Scorecard. Chapter 3 : Methods : framework, design, method, process, procedure. Chapter 4 : Case analysis : introducing the process of leading the Business Intelligence system and comparing the influence of performance pointers between before and after. Chapter 5 : Conclusion and suggestion.
