利用麻瘋樹籽油混和柴油作為柴油發電機燃料之探討

摘要


由於全球原油價格高低起伏,動盪不安,深深影響了基層百姓的生活。同時各國對於化石燃料氾濫的應用,增加了溫室氣體濃度,進而加深了溫室效應。因此我們希望可以尋找出解決方法,一來可以用以舒緩原油價格之影響,二來希望可以降低環境的負擔,促使了替代性燃料研究的最原始動機。 在替代性燃料的研究中,以植物油最為熱門。其中,又以麻瘋樹植物油最具有潛力,其原因在於麻瘋樹植物油為非食用性植物油,且生長快速,繁殖容易,最重要的是麻瘋樹栽種需水量低且可以在各種貧瘠的土壤中生長。因此我們希望可以最低使用成本的方式,便是與超級柴油作直接的混合,並加以應用。 結果發現,麻瘋樹油混合油可以成功地用作替代性燃料,即使將混合比例提高至50%,也可以讓柴油發電機正常運轉且穩定供電,同時產生比起超級柴油更低的氣體排放。且經過去膠純化程序,也不會改變其趨勢,甚至可以再次小幅度地降低氣體的排放。可惜,麻瘋樹混合油確實會受到進料溫度的影響,低溫進料使得麻瘋樹混合油的動黏度升的更高,進而影響引擎運作。

Under crude oil price’s variation and the impact of greenhouse effect, it is urgent to find a potential alternative fuel. Among these alternative fuels, plant oils are the most potential ones, because they are natural, renewable, and they have almost the same fuel property with fossil diesel. For plant oils, Jatropha curcas oil is the most popular one. It has several advantages, such as rapid growth, easy propagation. And it is non-edible oil, so we don’t have to face the problem of food competition. The most important is that it need less requirement of water, and can in the most of critical lands. Diesel generator is a commonly equipment, from livelihood of power supply to industrial emergency backup. It is also important for some places, like: hospital, technology corp., especially earthquakes occur frequently in asia. Our research is to use the Jatropha oil blends in diesel generator, and compare power output and gas emissions with fossil diesel. We also studied the effects of oil temperature and oil degumming process. From the results, we found that crude Jatropha oil blends can successfully use as a generator alternative fuel, even when we increased the proportion of Jatropha oil to 50%, it still can let diesel generator run successfully and showed lower gas emissions than fossil diesel. And the oil after degumming process, the trend still not changed. But it was found in this study that inlet temperature will affect fuel performance when it is too low. It will result in an incomplete combustion, and if we increased the proportion of Jatropha oil in blends, it even can’t let the generator has a stable power output.
