台商企業進入越南巿場之策略探討 -以F公司為例

A Study on Entry Strategies of Vietnam Market by Taiwanese Enterprise: Using F Company as a Case

論 文 摘 要 越南自1986年開始實施改革開放政策以來,積極吸引外資投入,隨後又在2007年加入世界貿易組織,並且積極參與區域經貿組織,因此許多企業前往越南投資生產,這其中台商已成為越南主要外資來源。本研究以塑化產業的F公司為案例,探討台商企業赴越南投資的主要動機,為何選擇越南為投資地及帶給台商企業什麼優勢。 本研究發現,F公司至越南投資的動機主要為越南有低成本的勞動力及國內市場,尤其越南與許多重要貿易夥伴簽署了自由貿易協定,並參與RCEP享有關稅優勢,可以利用越南輸出至東協,歐美等國家,有助於發展外銷巿場。 後續研究者可以針對東南亞RCEP之台商因應策略,做進一步分析研討,可針對高科技業,或對不同產業別所造成的差異進行研究,以彌補本研究之不足。 關鍵詞:台商、越南、進入策略

Abstract Since 1986 Vietnam implemented reform policy along with openness to foreign investment known as Doi Moi. Later Vietnam joined World Trade Organization in 2007 and actively participated in regional trade arrangements. Consequently, Vietnam has attracted many foreign companies to invest and to manufacture products there, among them Taiwanese business has become a major source of foreign investors. This study uses F company as a case to explore the major motive of Taiwanese investment and what advantages Taiwanese business received by investing in Vietnam. The report found out that major motivations for the F Company to invest in Vietnam are low labor cost in Vietnam, especially with the free trade agreements with other important trading partners. In addition, Vietnam has enjoyed the benefit of low tariff rate after joining the RCEP. Those regional trade arrangements offer advantages for Taiwanese enterprises which can expand their export markets from Vietnam to countries like ASEAN, Europe and the United States. Future researches could conduct further analysis and discussion on the strategies that Taiwanese enterprise would take after the establishment of RCEP. In addition, researches could focus on differences among other types of industries such as high-tech industry. Key Words: Taiwanese Business, Vietnam, Entry Strategy
