Surgical Suturing Simulation Based On Volumetric Manipulation

摘要


我們提出了一個對臉部的軟組織進行切割和縫合手術,以容積為基礎的模擬方法。一個輔助的資料結構包括三個二維數組,代表了VOI(volume of interest)用於切割和縫合傷口,以模擬彈性變形在切削和組織癒合期間縫合。這種模擬方法可以很容易地結合容積顯像和其他對骨頭與軟組織的外科手術模擬方法。因此,一個完整的臉部整容手術系統從切割,剝離軟組織,磨骨或移位或植入骨頭,到蓋回軟組織並縫合,這可用於確認手術的過程和排練。

We present a volume based cutting and suturing simulation method for soft tissue in face surgery. An auxiliary structure includes three 2D arrays that represent a VOI (volume of interest) for cutting and suturing wounds a to simulate elastic and deformations during cutting and tissue healing during suturing. This simulation method can be easily combined with volume based rendering and other surgical simulation methods for bone and soft tissues. Therefore, a complete face plastic surgery system from cutting, peeling soft tissues, burring or repositioning bone or implant, folding back and suturing soft tissue can be used for confirming and rehearsing surgical modality.
