以第二代電流傳輸器所設計之三階正交振盪器

Third order quadrature oscillators using CCIIs

摘要


本文提出了三個以第二代電流傳輸器(CCII)所設計的三階弦波正交振盪器,這三個振盪器各用了兩個正型CCII、一個負型CCII,再搭配電容、電阻組合而成,其中的兩個電路只使用了接地電容及接地電阻,這三個電路的振盪條件及振盪頻率皆為正交可調。正交振盪器被廣泛的使用在電子通訊系統中的相移混合器及單邊帶產生器;在測量系統中做向量產生器及選擇性電壓計,原因在於其擁有兩個相差90度的弦波信號。所以正交振盪器在許多通訊和測試設備系統上是一個重要的建構方塊[1-5],通常判斷電路特性的好壞是取決於輸出正弦波純度的定量分析,也就是所謂的總諧波失真率,本文也對所提出之電路加以分析探討。   在本文中所做的實驗均使用一個商用IC-AD844構成正型CCII,用兩個AD844構成負型CCII,以上所提出的電路皆僅使用接地電容,從積體電路製造的觀點來看是非常有益的。

Three third-order sinusoidal quadrature oscillators using second- generation current conveyors are proposed. Each of these three oscillators is composed of two plus-type CCIIs, one minus-type CCII, and some capacitors and resistors. The first two sinusoidal oscillators have the advantage of using grounded capacitors and grounded resistors. The oscillation condition and oscillation frequency of each proposed quadrature oscillator are orthogonally controllable. The quadrature oscillator is used because the circuit provides two sinusoids with 90o phase difference, as for example in telecommunications for quadrature mixers and single-sideband generators or for measurement purposes in vector generators or selective voltmeters. The quantitative analysis of the sinusoidal output waveform determines the quality of the circuit, that is so-called total harmonic distortion. In this paper, all proposed circuits will be analyzed and discussed. The plus-type CCII was implemented using one AD844, the minus-type CCII was implemented using two AD844s from analog devices. All proposed circuits in this thesis employ only grounded capacitors. The use of only grounded capacitors is ideal for integration.
