本研究導入企業生命週期的觀點探討企業社會責任對財務績效的效果。首先,針對同一企業生命週期的企業,討論投入企業社會責任對財務績效的影響,接著討論不同企業生命週期階段下,投入企業社會責任的企業對財務績效的影響。本研究樣本取自天下雜誌「天下企業公民 Top50」與台灣經濟新報資料庫(TEJ) 2007年至2014年台灣上市櫃公司。研究結果顯示,在成長期及成熟期階段下,企業社會責任對財務績效有正向的影響;而在衰退期階段下,企業社會責任對財務績效的影響不明顯。比較不同企業生命週期階段,投入企業社會責任的企業,對財務績效的影響程度以成長期最大,成熟期次之,衰退期最小。
This study investigates the relationship between corporate social responsibility and corporate financial performance at the different business life cycle stages. The observations in corporate social responsibility come from top 50 investigated results by Common Wealth magazine between 2007 and 2014. The results revealed that corporate social responsibility has a positive impact on corporate financial performance in a growth stage and a mature stage. Moreover, the relationship between corporate social responsibility and corporate financial performance has the highest positive impact in the growth stage, and then the mature stage, and the decline stage the lost.
