Abstract This study examines the trajectory of the researcher's life growth through storytelling as a Morning Glory Mother in a school. Education is the part where people move up and down, and using picture book stories to lead children into the field of learning and improve their lives is not only a way to make good connections, but also a different kind of Dharma giving. The researcher's experience in planning, designing, and organizing the content of the curriculum, as well as the training of storytelling leaders, and the sharing of experiences with storytelling mothers' groups, will enable the reader to understand how the researcher used her own learning experience to serve as a Morning Glory Mother and tell stories for children. It is hoped that the results of this study will serve as a reference for elementary school to recruit morning glory mothers or for mothers who are willing to seriously integrate into the education of children and who are willing to tell stories for children; and to promote the reading literacy and picture book storytelling skills of morning glory mothers. This study is a narrative study of the evidence and gains of character education for students. The researcher used picture books as a medium to promote students' character development by using picture book storytelling once a week for sixteen weeks with 26 second grade students in the classroom. The self-narrative is an attempt to explain one's own journey of inquiry, at the level of the individual's mind, body, and spirit, at the interpersonal and social levels, and at the level of the larger self in the practice of universal love and sacred love. The third chapter is an exploration of the researcher's personal experience and life, with the hope of exploring the unknown and the new self through these narratives and reflections. The infinite, rich and deep exploration of self-knowledge is not just a mere study, but a very practical life lesson. Writing an autobiography by telling stories written by others makes the reader look more interesting and optimistic about the subject of life. Only through self-help, people's help, God's help, and self-reliance can we achieve good fortune in time, place, and harmony. I believe that "the more opportunities you have to learn, the more happiness you will receive. Volunteering allows the researcher to understand the state of "when one does not ask for anything, one's character will be high". The researcher hopes to pursue Maslow's self-fulfillment needs in order to achieve the realm of the highest life of truth, goodness and beauty. Key words: picture book stories, Story-telling Mom , reading literacy, narrative research, character education
