從城市商號之演變透視臺灣街道史—西村商會、伍中行、十全行為例

伍中行為臺灣光復初期極重要的食品什貨、飲料零售業，臺灣日治時期西元1900年至西元1945年二次世界大戰結束，接收許多西村商事在臺灣45年的經營與積累，西村商會從臺灣總督府接手的工研醋及代理的龜甲萬醬油，開啟台灣食品工業發展研究，啟發伍中行對台灣特產「烏魚子」的開發並開拓其銷售業務，同時也自創開發有台灣味道的罐頭食品。伍中行還是台灣第一家食品什貨、飲料連鎖店，伍中人顏德宏先生因捨不得老味道消失，捨不得伍中行沒落，具伍中行員工背景的第1.5代，傳承伍中行通路模式，以精簡概念，從十樣食品出發，找到傳承的路，找出保留伍中精神的路，創立十全行。隨著南、北貨需求減少，科技的日新月異物使得流管道增多，很多年輕人不認識伍中行，但對許多中老年人而言，在伍中行購物及置辦年貨，卻是一段美好的回憶。伍中行已經逐漸淡出人們的記憶，時間如流沙一般漸漸將伍中行深埋。因此，本研究藉由伍中行的經營故事來探討早期高級商行的興衰史。

WuChong Hang was a very important retailer of food and beverages in the early days of Taiwan's recovery. During the Japanese occupation period (from 1900 to 1945), it had been receiving many experiences from Nishimura business operations which was accumulated for 45 years in Taiwan. Nishimura Chamber of Commerce The Gongyan Vinegar and Kikkoman Soy Sauce, which was taken over from the Taiwan Governor's Office, started the research in developing Taiwan's food industry, inspired WuChon Hang to evolve the Taiwanese specialty "mullet roe" and expand its sales business. At the same time, it also created and flourished canned food with Taiwan flavor. Wuzhonghang is also the first chain store selling food and beverage in Taiwan. Mr. Yan Dehong from Wuzhong was reluctant to let the old taste being disappeared and the declining of WuChong Hang. The 1.5th generation of WuChong Hang who was also the former employees has inherited the Wuzhonghang channel model and simplified the concept. Starting from ten kinds of food, find a way to inherit and preserve the spirit of WuChong , and establish Shiquan Hang. With the decreased in the demand of goods from the south and the north, and the increased in number of channels due to the rapid development of technology, many young people do not know WuChong Hang. On the other hand, many middle-aged and elderly people still memorize the good times of shopping at WuChong Hang as well as buying New Year's goods there. WuChong Hang has gradually faded out from people's memory, and buried by time gently like quicksand. Therefore, this research explores the history of rising and falling of early high-class businesses by analysing the business story of WuChong Hang.
