中華經典文化符號應用於紙燈籠之創作設計

燈籠，集當代工藝與文明象徵於一身，從宮廷到民間，發展出眾多的變化類別，是中國燈具文化中的璀璨塊寶，但因照明科技的進步，燈籠只能於特定的場所與文化慶典中方以得見，這導致了傳統燈籠產業的榮景不再；究其原因，傳統燈籠於生產上採需時耗力的手工製作，於市場上受限於節慶與場所等因素，也連帶影響其旺淡季分明，造成經營難題，所幸近年來燈籠產業開始尋求轉型，引入文創思維來為其產品困境尋求突破。本創作從中國燈籠歷史開始研究，從中瞭解燈籠的意義，並獲取設計現代燈籠的基本元素；研究從史前時代到西周時代的紋飾文化，因這時期的紋飾符號很史前，容易瞭解，而是後世紋飾文化的基礎與起源，所以符合經典文化符號的定義；本創作以三個現代紙燈設計的案例分析，瞭解現代紙燈在材質上、造型上的設計想法，並且從中獲得創作靈感。紙材製品的生產、組裝等具有優勢，所以本創作使用不同紙材組合，進行結構與造型設計；在照明光源的選擇上，除了LED燈外，也使用香氛蠟燭作為設計元素，提升紙燈籠的日常應用範圍；本創作以史前時代到西周時代的紋飾文化作為基礎，設計出新的紋飾圖案，用在紙燈籠的裝飾上，以文創思維的設計方式，來提升紙燈籠的質感。本系列共擷取並轉化出15種經典文化符號作為燈面裝飾，結合紙質燈籠造型，並將電力光源與燭火光源帶入其中，設計出共30件作品，希望能為現行台灣燈籠產業提供一可行性的文創方式與思維，讓燈籠器具更活躍於當代，受到大眾的歡迎，並綻放出燦爛光輝。
