室內光雕照明形式之研究

照明燈具及形式是始終不斷翻新與精進的領域，當今的照明形式依然多以傳統光源為主，如螢光、鹵素、省電燈泡。如此，雖可滿足照明功能，卻未必能夠充分表達藝術效果。照明之佈光、明暗對比、動態、靜態等選項無限，是設計師主觀發揮創意的方式，得以應用於整體照明環境。所謂的翻新，就此領域而言，指的是從舊有的變化出新的，或者把舊的佈光以獨一無二的作法取代。為提高光線照射效果、精緻化、吸引力及視覺聚焦作用，本研究認為室內照明可將傳統的照明形式做改變，因此，蒐集了一些獨特的案例，呈現照明中加入藝術性手法，具有光雕技術性與藝術性特質之新型式「光藝術」、「光雕塑」、或「新媒體藝術」。這些案例多藉由光源與遮光罩、反射照、透鏡的二次光學，加上光線的照射、折射、反射、截光等物理特性，以產生有別於傳統的光束分布形式。進而言之，設計者得以燈光的光加影、加色、加形創造屬於空間的故事情節，突顯空間氛圍。再者，本研究分析及圖示說明了光雕照明案例之重要設計細節，彙整成九大類特徵，提供設計界參考。最後，從九大類光雕照明形式歸納出二十七種照明效果，應用於一虛擬商業空間，使用各種不同的藝術效果塑造出高度多樣化的照明設計，為室內空間提出新的照明應用方式。

Luminaires and lighting patterns are forever renewing in the history of time; contradictorily, traditional lighting gears, e.g., florescent, halogen, and compact light bulbs, still prevail in modern day lighting industry. Under such a premise, functional lighting purposes can be achieved, but not necessarily from the perspective of artistic effects. Pragmatically, lighting design can be something out of designers’ subjective and skillful presentation of lighting ambiances via a wholistic composition of light distribution, brightness contrast, dynamic, or static condition, without much limit at all. Moreover, it can be further elaborated into a unique and unprecedented state overturning that of the precedents and the existing outcome. To carry out such an attempt, so that artistic as well as exquisite light distribution patterns, and visual foci may be realized, this study carried out a series of case studies featuring brand new outcome. More specifically, these cases demonstrate innovative application of secondary lighting physics, including shields, reflectors, lens, color lights, and cut-offs to enable light beams to go through a variation of reflection, refraction, and penetration, to formulate sculpture, painting, or installations of peculiar bodies of light. In this way, these cases are interpreted, documented and categorized with annexed patterns, wherein, detail drawings of the luminaires are supplemented to further reveal how light sources and fixtures are integrated. In all, the findings may be a valuable reference for the design community. Finally, from the nine categories, twenty-seven patterns of which are adopted for further exploration. This study applied some of them in an interior design to demonstrate how they can be artistic and functional at the same time.
