企業整合決策對營運及創新績效影響:以台灣鍵盤製造業為例

摘要


台灣鍵盤製造上在全球市場創下,來自於優化生的產組裝流程,生產規模經濟上所帶來的成本優勢,已成為該產業主要之進入障礙,部份廠商在藉由完整的中下游廠商或垂直整合的成效帶來高品質產品與生產製造無虞的優勢,面對詭變的市場求,研發設計也是廠商之競爭主體,觀察盤製造廠商在營運模式上分別為垂直整合以及垂直分工,均是為能達到更有效率地提升廠商自身營運績效及研發創新能力。本研究採台灣鍵盤製造重點廠商為研究樣本公司,並藉由文獻探討選取之重要投入產出變數,對廠商進行整合決策的營運績效及研發創新表現上,以資料包絡法分析方式進行績效評估,經由DEA模型執行之結果顯示,對於衡量鍵盤製造廠商在營運績效及研發創新能力之結果以營業成本投入變數最具影響力,此代表為鍵盤製造業本身屬於人力密集及製造成本較高之產業,故其對於營業收入及營業成本間之關係需具有更嚴格之掌控力,產出的部份以專利權數對效率之評估影響最大,可能是因為專利權數為廠商研發創新之直接表現,故對衡量影響最大,但在效率調整上以研發費用出現最多次,其代表研發之投入並無法達到必須之產出效果。各廠商對於垂直整合之效率仍有非常大的改進空間,然而各廠商在專利的產出亦不具有效率,這導致廠商若想繼續以低成本維持下去,策略成效有限。廠商如果想用垂直整合方式來謀求生存,則目前看來,各家的績效都不佳,也正因為如此也許垂直整合才是轉型的契機。

Taiwanese keyboard manufacturing on global market has created a competitive advantage through advance manufacturing process and economies of scale. In turn, it also created a barrier of entry for other competitors on marketplace. Other manufacturers find success with quality products and vertical integration, However, The esearch and development together with incredible design is the key to success in this ever changing market. The keyboard manufacturers are divided into two operation concepts, the vertical integration and vertical disintegration. Both concepts are able to effectively elevate a company’s operational and creative productivity. In this thesis, the article will be diving into the Taiwanese keyboard manufacturing, with focus into the variable may arise during input/output production, and key decisions that effect a company’s fortune. Using data envelopment analysis (DEA) to show that operation cost will profoundly impact a company’s ability to reach optimal operation efficiency and research and development. This represent that the industry is a labour intensive and process intensive, thus, managing the balance between operating cost and operation income is vital. Another key was the investment on patents will also positively correlate to a company’s research efficiency. There are still room for improvement in terms of vertigo integration efficiency. Cost effective manufacturer will be limited in long term growth. From my perspective, most manufacturer are not doing a good enough job on vertical integration. A robust vertical integration is the key to achieve success in this industry.
