以發泡聚乙烯進行工業 包裝抗衝擊能力的優化

摘要


隨著環保要求的逐漸提高,無法自然分解,體積大且不易回收的EPS( Expanded Polystyrene 發泡聚苯乙烯)作為緩衝材料的市場將越來越小,瓦楞紙板雖有環保、易裁切、成 本低、使用範圍寬等優點,但由於其表面較硬,對某些產品表面會有磨損,濕度影響較大, 抗衝擊復原性較差,且有關瓦楞紙板的緩衝理論尚未建立等原因,因此短期內還不能完全替 代EPS。而EPE( Expanded Polyethylene 發泡聚乙烯)不但具有回彈性好、密度低、耐候性好、 耐腐蝕、阻水和易回收等優點,而且緩衝理論較為成熟,因此它在目前的出口產品緩衝包裝 領域佔有很大市場比率。所以,如何對EPE 做優化設計,降低材料生產成本,縮小體積進而 提高運輸裝載量,成了包裝設計重要的一環。 有鑑於紙漿模塑(Molded Pulp)易碎、易變形、回復性差和防振能力差的缺點,本研究將以 EPE 取代紙漿模塑進行包裝優化實驗,並搭配EPE 緩衝曲線圖尋找最佳化條件,做為廠內日 後開發參考依據。驗證方式為使用LANSMONT PDT-56ED 落摔測試機,採用大型網通產品 Switch 進行落摔測試,判定產品外觀與功能是否正常。研究結果顯示EPE 除了提升抗衝擊能 力,更能有效縮小包裝體積,提高運輸裝載量,降低運輸成本。

Due to the rising awareness of the environment protection, EPS cushion material can’t break down naturally and big volume and difficult recycle leads to the market getting smaller, The feature of corrugated board although is environmental friendly and easy to produce and low cost, etc., but there are some weakness of corrugated board, such as easy for humidity impact and low shock resistance, the roughness surface will scratch products, In addition, cushion theory of corrugated board still not establish well, For short term, corrugated board can’t replace EPS, But for EPE, there are many advantages, such as good shock resistance and low density and waterproof and easy recycle, one of the important things of EPE is cushion theory establish well, Therefore, EPE cushion most popular of packaging design, So, how to optimize EPE volume and reduce cost is key point of current packaging design. In consideration of molded pulp properties, such as deformation and low shock resistance, We plan to do a research about replace molded pulp with EPE and optimize EPE volume, use statics stress – G’s curve to find out optimization design and verification by LANSMONT PDT- 56ED drop equipment, test sample is big switch product, pass criteria of test needs function and appearance is workable without damage。The research shows that EPE cushion can upgrade shock resistance and downsize volume, increase pallet quantity and cost saving.
