對於銀髮族而言,社會支持在促進及維持身心健康上,均扮演相當重要的角色。本研究主要目的有二:(一)探索銀髮族休閒時間身體活動與自覺健康之間的關係;(二)探索朋友社會支持在銀髮族休閒時間身體活動與自覺健康之間所扮演的角色。 本研究採用問卷調查法,以「休閒時間身體活動」、「朋友社會支持」與「自覺健康狀態」為主要構面,針對50歲及其以上的銀髮族進行調查。問卷採用立意抽樣的方式於2013年10月至2014年4月,分別於臺灣五大都會區(新北市、臺北市、臺中市、臺南市及高雄市)的公園、社區中心、樂齡大學及長青學苑等地方進行資料蒐集,共取得有效問卷312份。 研究結果顯示,銀髮族休閒時間身體活動參與程度愈高,自覺健康愈佳。研究結果也發現,朋友社會支持在銀髮族休閒時間身體活動與自覺健康之間有顯著的調節效果。
Social support has been found to have played a significant role in promoting and maintaining physical and mental health among older adults. The purposes of this study were:(1)to examine the relationship between leisure-time physical activity and perceived health among older adults, and(2)to examine the role of social support from friend in this relationship. A survey questionnaire with a variety of validated scales, including leisure-time physical activity(LTPA), social support from friend, and perceived health status, was used to investigate individuals age 50 and over residing in Taiwan 5 major cities, i.e., New Taipei, Taipei, Taichung, Tainan and Kaohsiung. Purposive criteria-based sampling was used to collect 312 valid samples from local parks, community centers, and senior universities from October 2013 to April 2014. Results of this study showed that the higher the level of LPTA, the better the perceived health among older adults. Results also showed a significant moderating effect of social support from friend on the relation between LTPA and the perceived health among older adults.
