亞洲地區近年來不斷地產生群眾運動,而每個國家群眾運動的目標大致上都以政治民主化為號召,但是泰國自1932年以來開始施行君主立憲制度,尤其是在1990年代之後,民主制度趨於穩固,而2005年選出的總理更是擁有高度民意的支持,可是隔年卻產生反政府的群眾運動,甚至造成軍人奪權的民主制度逆轉的情況,爾後雖然又恢復民主制度的運作,但是社會卻已分裂,泰國進入動盪不穩定的政治局勢。 因此,本論文針對泰國近代群眾運動產生的原因、歷程作一全面性的探討,透過「人民民主聯盟」的行動策略研究,觀察群眾運動與泰國民主化之間的關聯,希冀能夠從中得到泰國民主制度穩定運作或是轉變的原因。
In recent years, Asian countries produce mass movement incessantly. And the goal of the mass movement generally calls for political democracy. Thailand began to implement a constitutional monarchy since 1932, especially in the 1990’s, the democratic system tends to be stable. In the election of 2005, the Prime Minister even had a high degree of public support. But the following year, the Anti-government mass movement started up, and even caused the situation of military seizure of power and the reversal of contemporary Thai democracy. Although it restored the functioning of the democratic system finally, Society already divided. And Thai politics is into turmoil unstable political situation. Therefore, in this thesis, the author researches the reason and course complete of the modern mass movement in Thailand. By studying the action strategies of the “People's Alliance for Democracy,” the author observed the correlation between the mass movement and the democratization of Thailand. Finally, the author wants to derive the stable operation of or reasons for the transformation of the democratic system in Thailand.
