摘要


乳癌是我國女性同胞常罹患的癌症,不僅對國人健康是威脅,治療的過程對病患或其家屬都極其辛苦。只有早期的發現才能對治療有積極的幫助。因此乳癌的篩檢就變得很重要。在許多不同的方法中,乳房超音波檢查因為是有效簡單又不具侵入性的安全篩檢方式,在許多醫院中是常用的乳癌篩檢的方法。然而傳統的乳房超音波檢查在手續上及資料的儲存上較為繁瑣,再加上為避免檢查結果為偽陽性的困擾,回診就成了確認是否為陽性的標準做法。但這又造成回診時調閱陽性病例沒有效率的困擾,又可能造成教學醫院充滿回診病人的困擾。本研究利用資訊管理的技術來開發一套可用在乳房超音波檢查的醫療資訊系統上,使傳統的檢查可以更有效率,對病患的檢查也可提高正確的診斷結果。

Breast cancer is a very common disease among the women in Taiwan. It is not only a threat to health but also a long and suffering process for the patient as well as the families. Only the early detection can be most helpful for the cure of the breast cancer. Among all different and available screening tools, the ultrasound has been utilized in many medical facilities as a common approach because of its non-invasive and convenient properties. However, the current ultrasound has its drawbacks. The most common ones are the way it stores the examining images and the high false positive rate of its results. Asking the patients follow up is the best way to rule out the uncertainty of the false positive results, yet this will overload the hospital with revisiting patients waiting for re-examining. This research implements a medical informatics system embedded with information management capacity, aiming to increase the efficiency of the ultrasound examining process and hence to enhance the patient’s health for early breast cancer detection.
