成人學習者參與老人虐待認知教育之研究

摘要


本研究主要目的,在於探討成人學習者參與老人虐待認知教育之研究,並比較不同背景變項的成人學習者參與老人虐待認知教育後,其老人虐待知識和態度的差異情形。本研究以中部某一所國立大學大學部之在籍成人學生和一所私立技術學院大學進修部之成人學習者為對象進行實驗組與對照組之靜態比較,以立意取樣的方式實施問卷調查,以自編「成人學習者參與老人虐待認知教育課程之調查問卷」為研究工具,內容包含:老人虐待知識量表、老人虐待態度量表及個人基本資料,調查期間共發出問卷460份,回收432 份,實驗組受試者219人,對照組受試者182人,有效問卷共計401 份,有效問卷比例為93%。為達本研究目的及考驗假設之需,本研究將回收之有效樣本以SPSS12.0 統計軟體執行分析,並採用平均數、標準差、t 考驗、單因子變異數分析和Pearson積差相關等統計方法來驗證假設。 本研究得到主要結論如下: 一、成人學習者參與老人虐待認知教育課程後其老人虐待的知識整體而言,具備中上程度的認知,以「老人虐待的支持網絡」構面最高,其次依序為「老人虐待的定義」和「老人虐待的危險因子」。 二、成人學習者參與老人虐待認知教育課程後其老人虐待的態度整體而言具備中上程度的認知,以「老人虐待的一般性態度」構面最高,而以「老人虐待的專業性態度」最低。 三、不同背景變項的成人學習者參與老人虐待認知教育課程後在老人虐待的知識上,不同性別、年齡、職業、婚姻、健康等均有顯著差異。 四、不同背景變項的成人學習者參與老人虐待認知教育課程後在老人虐待的態度上,不同性別、年齡、職業、婚姻、參與代間學習活動、參與老化知識課程等均有顯著差異。 五、成人學習者參與老人虐待認知教育課程後,其老人虐待的知識和態度均有顯著差異。 六、成人學習者參與老人虐待認知教育課程後,其老人虐待的知識和態度具有正相關和預測力。 關鍵詞:成人學習者、老人虐待、老人虐待認知教育課程、知識、態度

This study aims to explore adult learners’ knowledge of and attitudes towards the phenomenon of elder abuse after they underwent Elder Abuse Awareness Course. In addition, differences of knowledge and attitudes among the adult learners with different backgrounds were also explored. There were 460 adult learners from a national university and a private technical college in central Taiwan. They were randomized to either a course of Elder Abuse Awareness or a control group. The research instrument was “Adult Education of Elder Abuse Awareness Study Questionnaire,” which was developed by the author. The questionnaire included three parts: Elder Abuse Knowledge Scale, Elder Abuse Attitude Scale and Personal Information. Data were analyzed by Descriptive statistics, t-test , one-way ANOVA ,pearson product-moment correlation (PMMC) coefficient, and multiple regression. Based on research findings, the conclusions of this study was as follows. 1.Improvement of knowledge about elder abuse after the adult learners underwent the course was at averagely intermediate level, of which score of supporting net for elder abuse was the highest, followed by the score of definition and risky factors of elder abuse. 2.Improvement of attitudes towards elder abuse after the adult learners underwent the course was at averagely intermediate level, of which score of general attitude toward elder abuse was the highest, and score of professional attitude was the lowest. 3.There were significant difference in sex, age, level of education, profession, marriage and health among the adult learners with different backgrounds. 4.There were significant difference in the involvement of courses of among-generation learning and aging knowledge. 5.There were significant differences in the adult learners’ knowledge of and attitude toward elder abuse after undergoing Elder Abuse Awareness course. 6.There was positive correlation and significant predicting ability between the adult learners’ knowledge of and attitude towards elder abuse after undergoing Elder Abuse Awareness Course.
