以L-System為基礎的植物動畫生成手法

摘要


中文摘要 在目前的CG領域中產生擬真的植物影像是極為重要的議題,至於要如何產生擬真的植物影像則應該著重在rendering的技巧和植物形態特徵的真實呈現上,在植物的呈現上,我改進了植物的莖在呈現上不平滑的現象,使用BezierCurve做出來平順的branch,以較好的方式來產生branch連續的呈現,而最重要的是我們改進了原有的可在加入環境變數,環境影響的植物影像卻我這些論文所關心的,如何為一棵由L-System所產生出來的植物影像具有與環境互動產生如搖晃、斷枝、擠壓變形等等…,這是我們這篇論文所關心的,也因為此,我決定使用k-dops檢測的方式來虛擬出植物和環境之間的互動關系,k-dops是一種正確度極高的碰撞檢測方式,在虛擬實境這個議題上,碰撞檢測是一種重要的基礎,在了解兩個model之間的collision detection,在判斷model自身的self-detection,這都是重要的一個了解model 與model甚至是自身與自身互動的方式,因此我們此篇論文就是將k-dops加入L-System所生成的文法植物當中,使之能夠和環境產生準確度高的互動。

Abstract Rendering photorealistic images of plants is always an important research issue in the field of computer graphics. To achieve this research goal both rendering technique and simulation of morphology should be considered. I improve unsmooth stem to smooth stem using BezierCurve. It’s important that environment variable affect plants. I decide to use k-dops collision detection to simulate interaction in plants and environment. k-dops is a kind of high quality collision detection theory. So I add k-dops into L-System plants to make interaction in environment and plants with high quality.
