男性科技工程師婚姻觀之研究－男性研究的理論觀點

台灣近年來性別研究相關學術範圍大為擴展，其中「男性研究」為一新興領域，本研究即採用男性研究中之「親女性主義男性研究」為理論觀點，對台灣科技業男性工程師之婚姻觀做分析探討。並使用深度訪談為主要研究方法，研究對象為五名男性科技工程師，兩位已婚（勇哥、Aska）、三位未婚（猴子、小陸，與阿健），其中一位為男同性戀者（阿健）。　　經過訪談、分析發現，個案自小家庭背景、父母親教育態度，以及家中勞務分配情況會在個案的社會化過程中進行初步的男子氣概培養與父權體制鑲嵌，並成為形塑婚姻觀的第一步，接下來學校教育過程，個案們在學校中與同儕互動，進而對同性、異性間情誼有不同體認，接著再加上自己的人生經歷、對事物的體悟而形塑出自我對婚姻的觀點與看法。而研究也發現科技工程師的宅男形象，對此五位個案來說是一般人的「刻板印象」附著，事實會根據各個個案的成長經歷、遭遇的人事物而有各自不同的故事，但並沒有大眾印象的不喜歡出門、不善與人交際、邋遢等。　　本文也針對工程師的工作與家庭、婚姻三者進行探討，事實上工作難免會與家庭有所衝突，個案間會因自己的價值取捨而選擇較重視何者、如何分配時間。

This study used the "profeminist men's studies" as the theoretical perspective to analyze the marital viewpoints of Taiwan's male technical engineers. Subsequently, this study adopted the in-depth interview as the main research method to collect data from five male engineers who included two married Yung-Ke and Aska and three unmarried Monkey, Hsiao-Lu, and A-Jian. The sexual orientation of the last interviewee, A-Jian, is homosexual. Through interviews, the author found that family background, educational attitudes of parents, and the division of housework of the interviewees had fostered their masculinities and the patriarchal thinking in their youth socialization process. It became the first step to shape the marital viewpoints of male technical engineers. Later, the educational process in schools and the interaction with peers differentiated their emotional identity towards the same sex and the opposite sex. Besides the above mentioned, interviewees' life experiences and personal opinions also shaped their marital viewpoints. To sum up, this study found that the "Otaku" image of male technical engineers more or less reflected stereotypes. This research also examined the relationship among work, family, and marriage of male technical engineers. The relationship might not be harmonious but the male technical engineers could find solutions based upon their value judgment.
