本論文提出一種應用於RGB LEDs的數位調光電路,利用RGB三原色混出多元色彩,電路包含低速(RGB)和高速(white light)兩種功能。使用PWM技術,即脈波寬度調變控制RGB脈波寬度,造成色彩變化。讓RGB電路補償white light電路所產生的白光,增進白光的平均演色性指數和色溫。 使用HSPICE來模擬RGB電路,分析其電路特性。使用IC layout,Calibre DRC、LVS、PEX驗證。使用高階製程0.18um進行晶片佈局,使用VLSI製造技術“TSMC 0.18um MIXED MODE (1P6M,1.8V/3.3V) ”完成積體電路製作。
This thesis proposed a digital dimming control circuit for RGB LEDs . We make the circuit have two functions that are low speed(RGB) and high speed (white light). We use a method “pulse width modulation (PWM)” to control the RGB pulse width and make color change.We use RGB circuit to compensate white light and increase its CRI and CT. We simulate the function of RGB colors and analyze its circuit character using HSPICE. Verify with Calibre DRC (Design Rule Check)、LVS (Layout vs Schematic)、PEX (Post Layout Extraction) made by Mentor Graphics Corp, layout with IC made by Cadence Inc., implement the circuit structure by “TSMC 0.18um MIXED MODE (1P6M,1.8V/3.3V) process”.
