在2004年到2008年中國大陸商品問題廣受台灣媒體矚目,本研究主要欲瞭解台灣的報紙新聞傳播媒體,是如何報導中國大陸的商品新聞,如何呈現中國大陸的商品形象。以內容分析法研究台灣報紙媒體對於中國大陸商品形象的描述,選擇《自由時報》、《聯合報》與《蘋果日報》三報為研究對象,並提出「毒餃事件」與「毒奶粉事件」兩個商品安全事件,來探討中國大陸商品的報導對國內政治與兩岸關係、中國大陸形象、讀者以及政府政策各個層面的影響。 研究發現,三報都是呈現負面的形象,台灣的報紙媒體對中國大陸商品的形象描述大多數是「仿冒」、「有毒」、「價廉」、「品質差」,最常以「黑心」一詞概括所有負面的商品問題。中國大陸商品新聞顯示的意義包括:媒體報導常將「反中國商品」與國內政治議題相連結,或將單一商品事件升高到兩岸政治的層次;在北京奧運前後,接連兩起商品安全事件也讓中國形象產生污點;從刊登的讀者投書中看出,媒體對中國大陸商品的負面報導,這種負面形象也深植部分台灣民眾的心;透過媒體報導,也可以從中檢視政府的危機處理能力。
The China’s commodities issue attracted a great of attention of Taiwan's newspapers from 2004 to 2008. This study intends to decipher the perspectives of Taiwan's newspapers on the issue of China's Commodities. Then try to format the aspects of the images of China's Commodities. First, the content analysis method is used to classify the images from Taiwan’s newspapers, three newspapers the "Liberty Times", "United Daily News" and "Apple Daily" are selected as the news resource. Further, two commodity security incidents "Pesticide-Tainted Dumplings Poison" and "The Tainted Milk Powder" are taken as two cases. The results of analysis show the narrative image of China’s Commodities in Taiwan are "Counterfeit", "Poisonous", "Low-priced", "Poor Quality". Usually, these images are formulated under the title "black heart". This study also shows that China’s commodities news are usually related with Taiwan’s political interaction. Under such a circumstance, some commodity events can be intensified as a cross-strait political issue. On the other hand, two commodity security incidents even worsen China’s reputation in many aspects.
