There are two main channels for high school graduated students to enter colleges: one is by screening (recommendation) which is based on SAT (in February) and the other is by College Entrance Tests (in July). This thesis aims to study if there is any difference in the study performance in terms of scores of freshmen between the two groups by various admissions channels. This paper uses Z-score and original scores as outcome variables, and additionally controls for other factors.The result shows that there is no significant difference on study performance of selection between the two groups.
