本研究主要在探討「大學生的休復學之抉擇歷程與適應內涵」,主要研究目的如下:一、探究大學生休復學生涯抉擇之歷程與內涵;二、探究大學生休學及復學之生涯適應經驗;三、探究休復學經驗影響之下帶來的改變與覺察。 本研究以質性研究深度訪談之方式,共計訪談六位具休復學經驗的大學生。並透過協同研究者進行文本分析的三角校正以提升效度。 依據研究分析結果有以下六大項發現。 一、休學的抉擇歷程可分為三個階段:(1)休學念頭浮現期;(2)猶豫、評估期;(3)心意已決期。 二、復學的抉擇沒有階段性:「復學」對這些休學的大學生而言是無庸置疑的,並不會像休學決定需要經過長時間醞釀、評估。 三、休復學抉擇的影響因素,主要可歸納為個人及環境因素,個人因素指的是,個人興趣、性向,以及自我期待等因素促使他們休復學;環境因素是指,生活壓力、危機情境,以及家庭因素。 四、這些做出休復學決定的大學生,傾向自主決定休學,未與家人或朋友進行討論,並願意為此決定負起責任,及承擔後果。 五、休學具有目的性,並事先有所安排和規劃,例如,準備轉學考、重考,或是投入職場;這些清楚休復學目的,以及做好休學期間生活規劃與安排的大學生,相對地在休復學生活的適應狀況也比較好。 六、休復學經驗對其生涯發展有正向影響,(1)透過休學期間的各種經驗而有所收穫;(2)帶來個人覺察與成長。 最後,本研究亦針對以上結果進行討論,並提供建議。
There are three purposes of this study:(1)To investigate the college students’ career decision-making process of college withdrawal and re-enrollment.(2)To investigate the college students’ career adaptability of college withdrawal and re-enrollment experiences.(3)To investigatethe college students’ changes and self-awareness ofwithdrawal and re-enrollment experiences.Six intervieweeswho possess withdrawal and re-enrollment experienceswere chosen for the study. The purposivesampling and in-depth interviews were conducted and the validity is improved by the text triangulation. The results of this study show that: 1. There are three stages indecision-making process of withdrawal:(1)With thought for withdrawal;(2)Hesitateto make decision and evaluate the possibilityto withdraw from college ;(3)Determined to withdraw from college. 2. There is no stage indecision-making process of re-enrollment: They didn’t hesitateand is no doubt about re-enrollment. 3. There are personalfactors and environmental factorsof theirwithdrawal and re-enrollmentdecision-making process: The personal factorsinclude personal interests, aptitudes, and self-expectation.The environmental factorsincludestress of life, crisis, and family factors. 4. They didn’t discuss with their family or friends and tend to make their own decision on their own and they will taketheir responsibilityto takethe consequences. 5. Normally, the person who is well-adapted has clear purposes and plans of withdrawal. For example, planned to prepare transfer test, re-take, orworking. 6. There are some positive impacts on withdrawal and re-enrollment experiences:(1)They had somegains;(2)They become much more matured and have self-awareness. At the last part, based on the discussions of the study, the researcher has proposed some recommendations.
