影響新加坡華族女性銀髮族再就業因素之探討

摘要


本研究是以質性研究方式探討影響新加坡華族女性銀髮族再就業之因素。研究者通過深度訪談,收集四位受訪者的就業現狀、過程經驗、需求、期望,以及她們對政府鼓勵女性銀髮族再就業政策的看法及建議。本研究根據研究對象的敍述内容,進行資料分析,並通過相關文獻理論進行驗證比較。最後根據研究分析結果,對未來研究提出建議,主要發現如下: 一.影響華族女性生涯撤退的主因,包括(1)個人生理,如生病、失眠;(2)個人心理,如害怕,(3)家庭與孩子的需要及(4)環境因素,如工作環境壓力大等。 二.影響新加坡華族女性銀髮族再就業之主因 , 包括(1)個人特質,如勤勞、性格開朗;(2)個人正面的工作的態度;如好學不倦、人際關係很好(3)家人與社會的支持及(4)取得家庭與工作平衡。 三.關於再就業的選擇,四位銀髮族中,兩位再就業的選擇是自僱性質,而其他兩位為兼職性質,這也符合了新加坡政府鼓勵銀髮族再就業的方針, 研究者根據上述研究結果加以討論,並提供建議以作爲女性銀髮再就業者,專業助人者以及未來研究者的參考依據。

This is a qualitative research method on factors affecting Singapore Chinese female elder women’s re-employment through in-depth interviews. The researcher compiled 4 Interviewees’ data on their current employment status, life experience, needs and expectations, the participants’ opinion on the government policy to encourage female elder women re-employment. This study based on the object's narrative content, data analysis, and through related literature comparison of theory for validation. Finally, according to the results of the analysis of the study the key findings of this study are as follows: 1.The main factors of Chinese elder women career withdrawal including : (1) personal physiology, such as illness, insomnia; (2) personal psychological, such as fear, (3) the family and children's needs and (4) the environmental factors, such as pressure at working environment. 2.The main factors of Chinese elder women re-employment including : (1) personal characteristics, such as hardworking, bright and cheerful disposition; (2) personal positive working attitude, such as insatiable of learning, good interpersonal relationship; (3) family and community support and (4) obtain balance between family and work. 3.Among the four elder women participants, two are in self-employment in nature, whereas the other two are in part-time basis. Theses re-employment choices are in line with Singapore Government‘s policy. Based on the findings, further discussion and several recommendations are presented for elder women re-employment, professional helpers and researchers in future.
