Researchers have documented female intellectual power in history, thus, their contexts are important. However, researchers expect that women in the May-Fourth era would be emancipated. For this reason, conflicts regarding the context of women consider that female subjective is difficult to integrate. This paper interprets traditional Chinese thought, and demonstrates that it is a schema. Through such means, the context of women in social and literary discourse can be reexamined, which would show the difference between male and female discourse. Furthermore, female intellectuals’ position in relationships between individuals and society would be clearer. The finding of this paper can provide another image of the May-Fourth era.
