國小學童家長選擇補習班動機與評估準則相關之研究

摘要


本研究旨在探討國小學童家長選擇補習班動機與評估準則之間的關係。研究方法係採問卷調查法,以中部地區(苗栗縣、台中縣、台中市、彰化縣、南投縣、雲林縣)現有就讀國民小學子女且參加課後補習的國小學童家長為研究對象,採用自編之「國小學童家長選擇補習班之相關因素研究問卷」為工具,總計發出問卷1,200份,回收有效數1,066份。將資料以平均數、標準差、單因子變異數分析、Pearson積差相關及逐步多元迴歸等方法進行統計分析。根據分析結果與發現,歸納本研究結論為: 一、國小學童家長選擇補習班動機的整體表現屬於中高度重視,以「父母期望」層面重視程度最高。 二、國小學童家長選擇補習班評估準則的整體表現接近高度重視,以「師資與教學」與「行政與服務」層面重視程度最高。 三、在背景變項中,國小學童家長選擇補習班動機受到居住地區、教育程度、家庭月入總和、子女就讀年級與社經地位等因素之影響而有所差異。 四、在背景變項中,國小學童家長選擇補習班評估準則受到家庭月入總和與子女就讀年級等因素影響而有所差異。 五、國小學童家長選擇補習班動機與評估準則之關係為顯著正相關。 六、國小學童家長選擇補習班動機對評估準則有預測力。 最後,本研究依據上述研究結論提出相關建議,以供主管機關、國小學童家長、補習班業者及未來研究之參考。

The main purpose of this study is aiming at exploring the reiationship between the motivation of primary school parents and the criteria adopted by primary school parents to choose the cram school for their children. The researcher used the survey method in this study and developed questionnaire entitled “The Survey of the Related Factors of Primary school Parent’s Selecting the Cram School”. The subjects of this research were the parents in central Taiwan (i.e.Miaoli County, Taichung County, Taichung City, Changhua County, Nantou County and Yunlin County) who had children in the Primary school taking after-school tutoring courses. There were 1,200 questionnaires were sent to the subjects and 1,066 amongst the mailed-back were effective. The collected data were analyzed by the statistics methods of Mean, Standard Deviation, One-Way ANOVA, Pearson Product-moment Correlation and Stepwise Multiple Regression. The results are as follows: 1.The overall performance of the primary school parents’ motivations was rated the medium-high emphasis. The highest dimension was “Parents expectation”; 2.The overall performance of the Criteria used by primary school parents was approximat the high emphasis. The two highest dimension were “teacher’s qualifications and instruction” as well as “administration and service”; 3.Within the background variable, the motivations of the primary school parents choosing cram school were different and influenced by resident area, education, family monthly income, grade of children and social economic status; 4.Within the background variable, the criteria used by primary school parents were different and influenced by family monthly income and grade of children; 5.There was significant positive correlation between primary school parents’ motivations and choosing cram school criteria; 6.The primary school parents’ motivations could be used as a reference to predict their choosing cram school criteria. Finally,the research afforded suggestions for education authorities, primary school parents,cram school owner and the researchers were interested in this field.
