樂齡學習中心教師職能表現與重要性評估之研究

摘要


本研究旨在探討樂齡學習中心教師之職能表現與重要性,係運用重要表現分析法,以瞭解樂齡學習中心教師職能現況,並針對樂齡學習中心教師之職能實際表現狀況與重要性認知進行交叉分析,本研究工具為「樂齡學習中心教師職能實際表現狀況與重要性評估量表」,內容包含「基本資料」、「職能實際表現狀況量表」、「職能重要性認知量表」。研究對象主要為樂齡學習中心教師,以網路問卷調查法進行,於正式調查共收集有效樣本313份。所得問卷以SPSS 22.0版軟體進行描述性統計、獨立樣本t檢定、相依樣本t檢定、單因子變異數分析、重要-表現程度分析法(importance performance analysis, IPA)等進行統計分析。 依據資料分析結果,綜合歸納獲得以下的結論: 一、樂齡學習中心教師職能之實際表現狀況達中高以上程度,以知識構面中「社會老化知識」表現最佳。 二、樂齡學習中心教師職能之重要性認知達中高以上程度,以態度構面中「行為意向」表現最佳。 三、影響樂齡學習中心教師職能之實際表現狀況因素包含性別、年齡、任教年資及是否參與樂齡相關研習或培訓。 四、影響樂齡學習中心教師職能之重要性認知因素包含性別、任教年資。 五、樂齡學習中心教師職能實際表現狀況與重要性評定間存在差異,以「教學規劃與設計技能」面向差異最大。 六、樂齡學習中心教師需優先改善之職能為「生理老化知識」及「教學實施與評量技能」;可繼續保持之職能為「社會老化知識」、「情意感受」及「行為意向」。 本研究依據研究結果,分別對教育主管機關、地方教育主管機關、樂齡學習中心教師及未來研究者等四方面,提出多項建議。

This study aims to investigate the current condition of teacher competencies in Taiwan Active Aging Learning Centers and to understand the perception of importance of the competency of teachers’ perspectives. Through applying the Importance-Performance Analysis (IPA), a cross-analysis between the ideal and actual situation of teaching was conducted to diagnose the competencies of teachers at Active Aging Learning Centers. The research participants were teachers at Active Aging Learning Centers in Taiwan.The questionnaire was adapted from previous studies. A total of 313 responses were received and all of them were valid. The data were processed by SPSS 22.0 .The statistical methods employed were: Description statistics, Independent-Sample t-Test, One-Way ANOVA, Paired Sample t-Test, and IPA. The major findings are listed below: 1.The current condition of teacher competencies in Active Aging Learning Centers shows medium-high degree, the “knowledge about aging society” competency is the highest. 2.The perception of importance of teacher competencies in Active Aging Learning Centers shows medium-high degree, the “behavioral intention” competency is the highest. 3.The current condition of teacher competencies in Active Aging Learning Centers does cause significant differences by different variables, including gender, age, service period, and participation in the teaching training of elder education. 4.The perception of importance of teacher competencies in Active Aging Learning Centers does cause significant differences by different variables, including gender, service period. 5.There are differences between the current condition and the perception of importance in teacher competencies. The “curriculum planning and design skills” was the significant factor. 6.By using IPA analysis, the competencies needed to be improved for teachers in Active Aging Learning Centers were: the “physiological knowledge about aging” and the “teaching implementation and assessment skills”. The competencies needed to be kept up the good work for teachers in Active Aging Learning Centers were: the “knowledge about aging society”, the “affection” and the “behavioral intention”. Based on the above findings, this study provides recommendations to the education authorities concerned, local governments, teachers in Taiwan Active Aging Learning Centers, and the follow-up researchers for future investigation.
