摘要

一般圖書館對英文書籍的處理只是將其分類、分群、分組，但學生想要從這麼多的書籍當中找到一本適合自己閱讀的書，其實並不是那麼容易。有時候借回去看才發現生字太多，閱讀困難。或者太過於簡單，這兩者對於讀者沒有多大幫助，最適合閱讀的書籍應是比自己等級再高一點點。本篇論文提供一種系統，幫助學生在圖書館找到適合的英文閱讀書籍，這樣的一個系統可以幫助學生學習英文。

Reading is the best way to learn a language. English is no exception. This thesis provides a way to find a suitable English book to read in library. It can help students to learn English more efficiently. From the borrow records, the system tries to extract the useful information to determine the competitive English level of a student, and recommend him or her more suitable books to read, employing ID3 algorithm.
