大學生對打工的期許及戀愛對課業及打工方面之影響

高等教育的擴充使得大學生的人數攀升造成學歷的貶值，因而使學生在學期間將會藉由打工來培養自己的就業能力及學習新的技能。然而，戀愛也是影響大學生打工和課業重要的因素。本研究採用問卷調查法，調查兩所大學與兩所科技大學，採計同時有打工及戀愛經驗的學生，有效問卷為1283份。根據調查顯示七成以上大學生認為打工可以學習職場中的潛規則、增加不同職場經歷及尋找就業的方向，有六成以上的學生，認為打工會對未來就業更加有信心，且科大學生較普通大學生認同。戀愛影響課業上，大學生越同意另一半會教導其課業，也越會同意另一半會使他減少缺課、協助彼此課業和課業上的提醒，且私立學校比國立學校影響較多。戀愛影響打工上，大學生越是願意提升對方物質生活的人，越容易一起規劃未來工作、給對方理財、送禮示意和為了對方放棄工作，以及給對方工作上的建議，且男生較女生認同上述情況。研究也發現女大生在擇偶時會考量對方的家世背景、是否會幫忙做家事、生活規劃、朋友印象，男大生則較注重外在條件上的考量。

The higher education expansion has resulted in outnumber college graduates and the university credential devaluation. Hence, undergraduates would increase their future employability and learn new skills via part-time jobs. Nevertheless, romantic relationship is one of the important factors that affect college students’ academic performance and part-time work. The subjects of this research are from two traditional academic universities and two vocational universities of science and technology located in middle Taiwan. After selecting undergraduates who have romantic relationships and part-time work experiences, the sample size reduces to 1,283. The results indicate that more than seventy percent of the students agree part-time job can learn the potential rules of the workplace, increase and diversify their work experiences, and locate their occupational directions. Over 60% of all sampled undergraduates agree that part-time employments increase their future employment confidence and the vocational-track students agree more than the academic-track students. As the association between the romantic relationship and academic performance, the more the undergraduates agree that their companions teach them schoolwork; the more they agree that their companions reduce their class absences, help and remind each other schoolwork. On average, the abovementioned agreements are stronger in private universities than in the public ones. As for the association between the romantic relationships and part-time employments, undergraduates who agree more that they are willing to improve the companion’s material life also agree more on to plan future job together, to let the companion manage finances, to give a present to the companion, to give up jobs for the couple and to give job advices for each other. And males have higher agreements on above items than females. The study also find that females will take the companion’s background, whether help with house chores, life planning, and friends’ impression on the companion into consideration. Meanwhile, the male students are more emphasized on external conditions.
