摘要

本研究旨在探究夫婦懇談會（Marriage Encounter，簡稱ME）
為參與夫婦的婚姻關係所帶來的效果，及了解夫婦懇談會是經由什麼
方式與過程突破夫婦溝通的障礙，並持續增強其溝通意願以提昇婚姻
品質。本研究以一對中年夫妻為例，透過深度訪談、觀察筆記與文件
分析等質性研究的方法，發現夫婦懇談會為婚姻關係帶來以下影響：
1.學習尊重彼此差異；2.建立共同願景；3.改善溝通模式；4.提昇對
感受的敏感度；5.重燃愛火承諾共渡一生。研究並發現夫婦懇談會在
舉辦週末營之後，透過彩虹橋續談會的後續分享團體，有助夫婦持續
溝通不輟。
本研究根據上述結果，提出建議以供夫婦、婚姻教育與諮商實務工作
者及未來研究的參考。

The purpose of this study is to demonstrate the positive impact of the
Marriage Encounter Program, on how a couple can improve their
communication skills, leading to an improved quality of marriage life.
The study, using the case-study method take the example of a middle
aged married couple, and through in-depth interviews, close observation
and analysis of their written self-reflection documents, shows how the
Marriage Encounter Program led to 5 Positive Results on the married
couples’ lives in how they communicated together.
(a) Realize the importance of respecting difference.
(b) The importance of building consensus.
(c) Change the way of communicating.
(d) Raise their sensitivity to the other.
(e) Renew their initial commitment and love.
The study also emphasizes the necessity of “Follow up” and group
support in continuing to help the couple in their communication together
and in their married life. It is the hope of this study that it will be of help
in the area of Marriage Education and also lead further study in the area
of married life.
