臺灣國中教師進行國際教育融入課程困境之探究

Taiwanese Junior High School Teachers' Perspectives on Difficulties of Integrating International Education into Curriculum

摘要


本研究探討臺灣國民中學教師進行國際教育融入課程之看法與所面臨之困境,從教師專業程度、教學內容深度與行政支援等三面向進行分析,透過問卷調查進行量化統計。本研究母群體包含全國國中教師,共計46170名,總計發放500份問卷,回收476份問卷。從問卷結果發現,我國教師整體而對國際教育與國際教育融入課程具有正向看法。教師所擔任之職務、任教領域與進行國際教育融入課程之意願對國際教育融入課程之困境具顯著差異。而教師對國際教育之看法與國際教育融入課程具相當程度之相關。在此結果之下,針對我國教育行政主管機關、國中教師以及未來研究者共計提出八項建議。我國在國際教育融入課程,可從學校行政、教師專業成長以及師資培訓著手進行。

The study was intended to investigate teachers’ the difficulies of integrating international education into curriculum in junior high schools in Taiwan. The study also explored Taiwanese junior high school teachers’ perspectives on international education. The questionnaire developed was based on issues and factors extracted from literature review. The population consists of 46170 junior high school teachers in Taiwan. In this research, 500 copies of the questionnaires were give out to a purposefully selected sample of junior high school teachers in Taiwan, and 476 copies were returned and completely answered. The data obtained from the questionnaire were analyzed using SPSS 23.0 for Windows. The data was analyzed using ANOVA, t-test and Pearson product-moment correlation. The results were summarized as follows: 1. Taiwanese junior high school teachers’ generally have positive views on international education. 2.Years of Teaching, subjects of teaching and willingness to integrate international education into curriculum are crucial factors that influenced teachers’ perceived level of difficulties in integrating international education into curriculum. 3. There is a moderate positive correlation between teachers’ perspectives on international education and teachers’ perceived level of difficulties in integrating international education into curriculum. Based on the findings, some suggestions were proposed to the education administration authorities and to the junior high school teachers. Suggestions for further researches were also proposed.
