臺灣地區大學校院運動管理相關系所課程內容分析之研究

摘要


本研究旨在瞭解臺灣地區大學校院運動管理相關系所課程規劃之現況,並瞭解規劃與實施過程之問題。本研究第一階段以15個學士班,8個碩士班為研究對象,以自編之「編碼表」進行各系所課程規劃之內容分析,第二階段根據量化之研究結果,採立意取樣方式,選取5位重要系所課程規劃人員進行半結構式訪談,以深化本研究結果,研究結果發現如下: 一、運動管理相關系所為符合產業環境、市場與就業需求,目標傾向多元,除了「培養運動管理人才」,兼具「培養休閒管理人才」、「培養健康管理人才」、「培養運動指導人才」,系所目標過多,在課程規劃與師資聘任上有無法面面俱到之疑慮。 二、師資背景以博士學歷居多,學士班師資以「運動管理與領導」與「運動行銷」領域居多,碩士班師資以「運動管理與領導」與「運動研究」領域居多,均有師資不足之現象,導致許多系所依師資背景規劃課程,影響課程規劃走向。若有師資不足問題,應採聘任業界兼任教師,或請其他系所教師協助開課等方法。 三、必修學分比例過高易造成學生缺乏學習動機。各系所以「分組」、「課群」方式規劃學習方向,開設課程多有偏重與忽略之情形,以「運動管理與領導」最多,「運動倫理學」最少。「運動管理與實務實習」為關鍵性課程。碩士班均將「碩士論文」、「統計學」、「研究方法」列為必修。 基於上述研究結果,本研究建議國內運動管理相關系所應妥善做好課程規劃,並徹底落實執行,提供學生優質的養成教育,培養市場所需之專業運動管理人才,俾利於國內運動產業界的發展。

This study aimed to determine the current situation of sport management curriculum in college in Taiwan, and to discover the obstacles while implementing such curriculum. In the first phase, this study colledted data from 15 sport management undergraduate and 8 graduate departments as content analysis subjects through coding tables. In the second phase, 5 crucial curriculum-planning practitioners were picked by purposive sampling as in-depth interview subjects. The results were as followed: 1. The objectives of sport management departments were prone to be diverse in order to correspond with sport industry environment, the needs of markets and students, including “to cultivate sport management personnel”, as well as “to cultivate leisure management personnel”, “to cultivate health management personnel”, “to cultivate exercise instructor”. However, having too many objectives could not be well considered in every respect. 2. Most of the faculties have doctoral degree. The faculties of undergraduate departments emphasize in “Management and Leadership in Sport” and “Marketing in Sport” the most. The faculties of graduate departments emphasize in “Management and Leadership in Sport” and “Research in Sport” the most. Faculties in most departments are insufficient which may affect the planning of curriculum. Industry practitioners or other department faculties are recommended to invite to assist offering courses. 3. Sport management departments planned curriculum in two ways: “specialized tracks”, which students emphasize in specific areas, or “non-specialized tracks”, which courses were categorized for students to study. “Management and Leadership in Sport” course was included in the planning the most, and “Ethics in Sport Management” course was the least in all subjects. “Field Experience in Sport Management” course was critical, only one undergraduate program didn’t include in required course. “Thesis”, “Statistics” and “Research Methods” were required courses in all graduate programs. Having too many required courses could cause students’ lacking learning motivation. Based on the results above, it is suggested that the sport management departments should design the curriculum properly and implement exactly in order to offer high quality curriculum and cultivate professional sport management personnels to assist the development of sport industry.
