國立臺灣師範大學體育學系畢業生選擇非教職工作歷程探討

摘要


本研究以國立臺灣師範大學體育學系選擇非教職工作的六位畢業生為研究對象,旨在瞭解其就業現況和職業選擇情形,探討師資培育對職業選擇之影響,經半結構式訪談及分析,將研究結果綜整討論,獲致以下結論: (一)個案在學生時期雖有職業探索但缺乏行動和規劃,在學生和工作者角色的轉換及定位是促成其主動探索的原因。 (二)個案選讀臺師大體育系時將「從事教職」視為附加價值或從未考慮,但皆修習教育學程,在選擇職業時也以教職與非教職作比較。 (三)個案職業評估與選擇的過程,受職業認知及實務經驗的影響。無論是否為體育相關行業,個案以「鋪陳經歷」和「包裝自己」藉以建立職場表現的信心。 (四)對師資培育生而言,「從事教職」是職業規劃的誘因也是侷限。 (五)個案對體育系及師範教育有所認同,尤其是體育系的態度養成和師培教育中溝通與表現能力的培養。 (六)個案認為學生的就業準備應包含心態調整,不因專業能力限制職業選擇。 (七)大學是進入業界的橋梁,應即早建構師生願景與資源整合。

This study aimed at understanding the selective process of six students in the Department of Physical Education (P.E.) at National Taiwan Normal University (N.T.N.U.) choosing non-teaching career. It explored the influence of teacher education on students’ career choice through semi-structured interviews. After the analyzing process, the results and conclusions were as follows: (1) During the transformation of identity from being a student to a worker, defining their identity and role is the key point that makes them think about what they want. (2) When they chose to be a major of P.E. in N.T.N.U., despite the fact that “being a teacher” was regarded as either an additional value. (3) Whether the cases took P.E.-related jobs or not, they built their confidence of job performing on their wide variety of different experiences and presenting the best. (4) For students who take teacher education programs, “being a teacher” is a plan for their future job as well as a limitation at the same time. (5) They both identified themselves with fostering of the manners by the Department of P.E. and the communicating and presenting ability cultivated by the teacher education program. (6) In order to get ready for acquiring a job, students should adjust themselves to different kinds of jobs but not limit their choices by their professional ability. (7) For connecting with industrial field, the college should construct a vision for both students and teachers and integrate all the resources.
