現代台灣茶文化暨 新式茶具設計創作研究

摘要


2007年銷售台灣的茶葉達4萬多公斤、2001年台灣平均消費量約為每人1.4公斤,可見現代台灣人的生活與茶密不可分。但現代飲茶方式卻出現重大改變,據調查,大眾不喜歡傳統熱泡茶的主因為嫌麻煩和沒興趣。在這新式茶飲的時代,何謂現代茶文化?現代人飲茶方式有何改變?如何透過設計來延續?便成為發揚台灣茶文化的重要議題。本研究擬整理出台灣茶文化的內涵,並探討其現代風貌,接著透過專家訪談與使用者調查建構新的泡茶模式,期能應用於現代茶具設計,讓茶文化與生活接軌、使之成為進行式的在地文化。研究發現「現代茶文化」並沒有標準答案,台灣依舊在尋找自己的定位,因此茶具設計不應一味排斥新式茶飲,而要運用設計,讓使用者願意嘗試傳統。透過設計研究,可將結果轉化為設計要素(材質-白瓷搭配自然素材;容量-200~300c.c;定價-500~1500元;色彩-溫暖、溫潤、純淨、霧面;造型-簡約、經典與現代融合、穩重、質樸;功能-保溫、易清潔、濾茶、飲用、沖泡茶包、悶茶)。設計策略則必須從外觀與材質做出差異性,並增加使用彈性,以達使用者的期望。茶具除功能性之外,心理感受也是重要因素,建議後續研究可朝茶具的五感設計發展,更深入探討茶具內省與安定等特質,以建構更完整的新式茶具設計模式。

The import of tea in Taiwan were more than 40,000 kilograms in 2001, and the average consumption per Taiwanese was about 1.4 kg. It can show that modern Taiwanese life and tea are inseparable. But the drinking way is significant changed nowadays, according to the survey, the reason why public don’t like the traditional hot tea is trouble and uninterested. Consequently, what the modern tea culture is? how has the way of drinking tea changed ? How to extend the culture through designs? ……these have become important issues when promoting the tea culture in Taiwan. This study is going to marshal the references to find out Taiwan’s tea culture, and to explore its modern features. Then through the interviews with experts and the survey of user-behavior, we can construct a new tea-drinking way. Hope the investigation can be applied to design modern tea sets, and let “tea culture” become a going-local culture. The study found that "modern tea culture" doesn’t have a standard definition, Taiwan is still looking for its own orientation, so we should not blindly reject new-type of tea culture when designing a tea utensil, but to use design attracting users to understand traditional tea culture. Base on the design research, the results can be translated into design elements (material - white porcelain with natural materials; capacity -200 ~ 300c.c; pricing -500 ~ 1500 NT dollar; color - warm, gentle, pure, matte; style - simple, fusion of classic and modern, stable, simple; function - insulation, easy to clean, filtering tea, drinking, brewing tea, smoldering tea).On the other hand, to achieve the user's expectations, the design strategies will be that make the product’s appearance and material distinctive, and that make it’s usage more flexible. Besides the functionality, the psychological feelings of user are also important for tea utensils design. Future research can proceed in users’ vibrations and study further into the tea’s characteristic- soul-searching and stability. So that we can construct a more complete mode of new-type tea set design.
