摘要
色彩與紋理，是決定物體表面主要特徵。紋理，或稱質感，與形狀、色彩同為造形三大要素。除物體本身的形態，色彩與紋理是操縱視覺心理最直接的一種因素。”光 ”讓人們看見一切，有光便有色彩，它讓人們看到各式各樣的色彩、紋理、形狀。於是人類倘佯生活其中，享受大地渾然天成的各式美景與生命氣息，藉由感官刺激和生活經驗，透過視覺及思考，以不同形式、方法作成紀錄，或成傳承教材，或成曠世鉅作。
熱帶魚是色彩最豐富、最繽紛的物種之一，本研究在探討熱帶魚的色彩、紋理對視覺傳達設計領域的影響和應用。在視覺傳達設計方面，取材各種不同熱帶魚之色彩與紋理，在腦中激發成圖像，輔以電腦繪圖工具的操作，實現創作的精髓，傳達設計者的創作實驗理念。本研究共計五章：
第一章緒論，論述研究背景、動機與研究目的，並說明研究方法、流程和研究範圍與限制。
第二章文獻探討，從造形三大要素和圖案設計的表現形式，解析色彩、紋理對設計構成的重要性。藉由探討熱帶魚豐富、多樣化的色彩、紋理，歸納與分析後得到其調性與屬性，進而創作海報。
第三章色彩、紋理在視覺傳達設計之探討，將說明視覺傳達設計之涵義，闡述其在四大領域的應用概況--視覺傳達設計創作風格分析、色彩、紋理與視覺傳達設計之關係、蒐集以熱帶魚為題材的創作分析、探討熱帶魚在視覺傳達設計應用的可能性。
第四章創作理念和方法則敘述創作理念、思考與過程、實際創作作品說明，以及創作衍生發展的相關視覺傳達設計作品，強化研究動機與研究目的，以此類推至同質性的相關研究。
第五章結論與後續創作計劃，對色彩、紋理在視覺傳達設計的應用研究作一總結，並提出後續創作計劃的可能性。

ABSTRACT
Colors and veins are the major characteristics of determining the appearance of objects. Veins or quality, shapes and colors are the three major elements of making appearance. Except the shape of object, colors and veins are the most direct elements of operating visual mind. “Light” makes people see everything. There is the light, there is the color. It makes people see various colors, veins and shapes. People enjoy different kinds of beautiful scenery and life. Through the sense of stimulation and the life experience, people by way of visual and thought make colors and veins to be the records in different forms and ways. They can be the teaching materials of inheritance or the outstanding works.
The tropical fishes are one of the most colorful species. In my research, I wanted to explore the influence and application of colors and veins of the tropical fishes in the field of visual design. In visual design, I used various colors and veins of the tropical fishes to create the graphics. Through the operation of computer, I achieved the creation and transmitted the experience idea of designer. There were five chapters in the research. They were as followed:
Chapter one was the introduction. It discussed the background, motivation and purpose of the research and explained the ways, process, range and limitation.
Chapter two was about the exploration of the documents. From the three elements of making shapes and the appearance of graphic design, I analyzed the importance of colors and veins to the composition of design. Through the exploration of the abundant and various colors and veins of the tropical fishes, I got the attribute after generalization and analysis and proceeded to create posters.
Chapter three was about the exploration of colors and veins in the visual design. It explained the meaning of the visual design and the application in the four fields such as the analysis of creating style, the relationship between visual design and colors and veins, the collection about the topics of the creating analysis of the tropical fishes, the exploration of the possibility about the application of the fishes in the visual design.
Chapter four was about the idea of creativity and ways. It illustrated the creating idea, thoughts, process, the explanation of the works, and the related visual design works. I intensified the research motivation and gains and analogized to the related researches which were the same quality.
Chapter five was the conclusion and the follow-up creating plans. It made the conclusion about colors and veins in the application of visual design and brought up the possibility of the follow-up creating plains.
