生活故事書對自閉症兒童生活適應能力影響之研究

摘要


摘 要 本研究旨在探討生活故事書教學對自閉症兒童的生活適應能力影響的成效,採用個案研究法,以一位自閉症兒童為研究對象,家庭為研究情境,透過訪談、觀察等方式收集個案資料,希望藉由生活故事書的教學與實踐,了解自閉症兒童生活適應能力改變的歷程。本研究的發現如下: 一、生活故事書的教學: 經過生活故事書的教學,個案的語言表達能力因而獲得改善,能以語言「要求被愛」,並「說出自己的感受」;人際互動也透過指認人物、使用問候語或說出稱謂的能力表現;生活故事書的內容雖未直接針對情緒問題進行處理,但因為個案語言表達、情感、人際互動、社會能力均透過生活故事書的教學獲得改善,負面情緒行為問題因上述能力的改善而減少。 二、對生活適應能力的影響: 經過十二次的教學,從「非生活故事書」和「生活故事書」的活動比較,個案的語言能力、情感表現、人際關係、社會能力和情緒行為因而獲得改善,因而使生活適應能力因各種能力的提升而獲得改善。 三、研究的過程,研究者獲得的改變如下: (一) 用孩子的眼光看世界。 (二) 生活故事書是孩子的代言者。 (三) 在教學的歷程中,能提供家長有效的教育策略。

Abstract This purpose of this study is to explore the effects of the teaching and learning of real life storybooks on the ability of life adaptation of an autistic child. This is a case study on a child with autism in his family as the study surroundings. Before intervening, the information about the subject had been collected through interviews, observing, and testing. Then the subject was instructed by applying and practicing real life storybooks. The author hopes to understand the change process of an autistic child’s life adaptation ability by the teaching and learning of the real life storybooks and its practice. The major findings are as follows: 1. The effects of intervening by real life storybooks: After intervening by real life storybooks, the subject’s language expression is improved, being able to verbally demand affection and say what he really feels; he could interact with other persons. The real life storybooks do not deal directly with emotional problems, but they are helpful in improving the subject’s verbal expressions, emotions, interpersonal interactions, social abilities, and the behaviors caused by negative emotion are thus reduced. 2. Influence on the ability of life adaptation: After twelve classes of teaching and learning as well as from the comparison between non-real life storybooks and real life storybooks, the subject’s language ability, emotions, interpersonal dealings, and social abilities are improved, and accordingly, his ability of life adaptation is improved through the uplifting of various abilities. 3. Inspirations on the author: (1) Use children’s views to see the world. (2) Real life storybooks are the spokesmen of children. (3) The intervening processes can provide effective educational strategy to the parents.
