A Study of The Design and Practice of Scaffolding Instruction on Web-based Package Design Learning Curriculum Author:Shu-Chen Wang Adviser:Hsien-Sheng Hsiao ABSTRACT The good packaging can not merely promote the value of products but also offer great appearance and product-protection, another function of good packaging is to enhance the image of a business and sales promotion. The package design does the most direct propaganda for the products, make the packing of product become ' the silent salesman '. So, it is extremely important that the package design is essential. Course about package design curriculum generally appear in paper, instructor usually carries on teaching by traditional way, and course done in fact is in the teaching of the whole-class teaching, the instructor sometimes would feel insufficient mentally and physically in a big class. It is unable to look after to each student's individual differences. Above all, by theory of scaffolding and tool of internet , it is not only a single study way again to make the package design studied. The purpose of designing the course is to give option in stead of replace the traditional teaching way, it has a assistant effect. Study the experimental design and regard advertisement design subject student of the high school of commerce as the target, carry on web-based package design of 30 classes and study course, through the finding, the appraisal that most learners study the way and hold a very positive attitude, the cooperation of helping each other assistant and of the same generation to scaffolding is studied to think too that helps the completion and creation of its works to behave. But not that every learner likes courses of some part to be suitable for using technology to study, this may be involved but learner's one's own speciality , familiar degree , attribute of course of the tool are different. In addition, planned design and difference of actual making are that technology is still the weak point at present. This research is systematized through the procedure that will design of a scaffolding instruction and internet. Besides, it can provide instructor and learner more choices. Utilize the characteristic of the internet to create the design that thinks of the package design to do a different try, in order to train a kind of method to think as designing, let the abstract creation idea be specified, and there is the appearing basically of a certain degree.
