Addition (cyclohepta-1,3,5-triene)chromiun cation with zinc-copper reagents to give (cyclohepta-1,3,5-triene)chromiun complex which have a cyano group side-chain at C-7 position of the ring.Through functional group change to give oxime compount.Then, intramolecular 1,3-dipolar cycloaddition of cyclohepta-1,3,5-triene
-tethered oxime.The intramolecular 1,3-dipolar cycloaddition of cycloheptatriene
-tethered oxime proceeded in a different stereocontrolled manner to produce cis-trans tricyclic isoxazolines.
Addition (cyclohexa-1,3-diene)iron cation with zinc-copper reagents to give (cyclohepta-1,3,5-triene)iron complex which have a ester group side-chain at C-5 position of the ring. Through functional group change to give alcohol compount. Alchhol compount catalized with 0.1 equiv. CeCl3．7H2O-NaI to give tetrahydrofuran derivative.
