危機中關懷領導的體現

摘要


在危機中,領導者常被民眾或追隨者預期需展現關懷體恤的一面。而究竟何謂關懷領導?過去研究指出,關懷領導可以從關注、動機轉換、情境性、相互性、本真性五個要素來進行探究。故本研究採用話語分析,探索2016年2月6日因地震發生於台南的維冠金龍大樓坍塌事故的相關報導,特別是與時任市長賴清德有關的新聞資料,進一步探討危機中領導者應當如何作為與不作為才能體現關懷領導。 本研究的結果呼應與延伸既有危機與關懷領導的研究,依據話語分析結果,將當時的新聞內容歸類為掌握現場、對救災中的搜救團隊與專家給予關注、將議題焦點從自身狀態回到救災事件上、給予受災戶適性回應以上四個類別。此外,更進一步延伸關懷領導之五大要素之應用,觀察其如何運用及安排於危機中的管理場域中。根據上述結果,我們亦討論相關的理論與實務意涵。

In a crisis, leaders are often expected by the people or followers to show a caring and compassionate side. What exactly is caring leadership? Past studies have pointed out that caring leadership can be explored from five elements: attention, motivation displacement, Situationality, mutuality, and authenticity. Therefore, this research uses discourse analysis to explore the Weiguan that occurred in Tainan due to the earthquake on February 6, 2016. The relevant reports on the collapse of the Golden Dragon Building, especially the news materials related to the then Mayor William Lai Ching-te, further explored how leaders should act and respond to reflect caring leadership in a crisis. The results of this study echo and extend the existing research on crisis and caring leaders. Based on the results of discourse analysis, the news content at that time is classified as mastering the scene, paying attention to the rescue team and experts in the disaster relief, and returning the focus of the topic from its own state. For disaster relief incidents, the above four categories are given to the affected households to respond appropriately. In addition, we will further extend the application of the five elements of caring leadership, and observe how they are used and arranged in the management field in crisis. Based on the above results, we also discuss relevant theoretical and practical implications.
