國中生幽默風格對主觀生活壓力與身心健康之調節作用

The Moderating Effect of Humor Style on the Relationship between Subjective Life Stress and Physical-Mental Health in Junior High School Students.

摘要


本研究主要在探討國中生主觀生活壓力與身心健康是否具有關聯性,及其個人幽默風格在兩變項間是否具有調節作用。本研究採問卷調查法,以台灣北區(臺北市、新北市、宜蘭縣)之國七至九年級學生為施測對象,共計798位。針對相關資料進行描述統計、單因子變異數分析、獨立樣本T檢定、Pearson積差相關、階層迴歸分析等統計方法進行分析。研究結果如下: 一、國中生主觀生活壓力與身心健康得分偏中等,幽默風格傾向正向幽默風格(親和型與自我提升型)。 二、國中女性在身心健康中的生理狀況、焦慮和失眠、社會功能障礙皆顯著高於國中男性。 三、國中生年級愈高,身心健康隨著年級升高而愈差。 四、國中男性在攻擊型幽默風格使用上顯著高於國中女性。 五、國中九年級學生之負向幽默風格(攻擊型和自我貶抑型)顯著高於七、八年級。 六、國中生主觀生活壓力對身心健康具有負相關。 七、國中生主觀生活壓力的生長事件壓力愈高,其生理狀況、焦慮和失眠、社會功能障礙越高,而整體身心健康愈差。 八、國中生使用自我提升型幽默風格在家庭事件壓力和社會功能障礙之間具有正向調節效果。 九、國中生使用自我提升型幽默風格在人際事件壓力與生理狀況之間具有正向調節效果。 最後,根據本研究結果加以討論,並提出對學校、教師、家長等相關人士之建議,並供未來研究之參考。

This research investigates if there is relevance between junior high school students’ subjective life stress and physical and mental health, and whether one’s humor style make adjustments between the two variables. Questionnaire Survey is applieed to this research. 798 junior high school students (from seventh graders to ninth graders) participated in the study and responded to the questionnaires. Analysis like descriptive statistics, analysis of variance, independent-sample T Test, Pearson’s Correlation, hierarchical regression were employed for further analysis. The conclusions are as follows. 1. Junior high school students have average and normal scores of subjective life stress and physical mental health while theire humor styles tend to be positive. 2. The physiological condition, anxiety, insomnia and social dysfunction of female junior high school students are obviously higher than male students. 3. The higher students’ grades are, the worse their physical and mental health. 4. Male junior high school students practice aggressive humor style more than female students. 5. Ninth graders have more negative humor style (aggressive and self-defeating humor style) than seventh and eighth graders. 6. There is a negative correlation between junior high school students’ subjective life stress and physical and mental health. 7. The higher the stress of growing events of junior high school students’ subjective life stress, the worse their physiological condition, anxiety, insomnia and social dysfunction, and so is their overall physical and mental health. 8. Self-enhancing humor style behaved by junior high school students have positive adjustive effect between family event stress and social dysfunction. 9. Self-enhancing humor style used by junior high school students have positive adjustive effect between Interpersonal stress and physiological condition.3 Finally, accoding to the results, suggestions are provided for schools, teachers, a dn parents as a reference for future research.
