運用敘事性攝影在Instagram 之表現形式創作研究

A Study of the Representation of Narrative Photography on Instagram

摘要


說故事為人們傳遞訊息表達方式之一,近年來隨著攝影設備、手機的便捷性提升及社群軟體的蓬勃發展,透過於社群平台發佈具有敘事性的圖像已成為主流的訊息交流方式。在資訊快速流動的時代中,攝影的表現形式與呈現方式雖不斷更新,如何能掌握主體與拍攝表現手法,以達到訊息的傳達性與有效性的的相關研究則相形闕如。 本創作研究藉由手機拍攝系列作品,以探討運用敘事性攝影在Instagram的表現方式。先透過對敘事性攝影表現方式,以及社群平台的發展與應用進行文獻探討後,並藉案例研究法,針對2018-19年間在社群平台具高點閱率、高追蹤人數的敘事性攝影作品與具公信力的國際競賽中獲獎的敘事性攝影作品,篩除掉需專業攝影技術,如需另搭建攝影棚、或需運用後製增加特效才能拍攝出的敘事性作品,從中挑選能夠符合於本研究下一階段創作的13位敘事性攝影創作者,針對其敘事性攝影作品的5個面相進行分析,包含作品風格、地點、理念、拍攝主題與表現形式,以了解近年敘事性攝影表現形式特色,作為本創作研究「iseetaipei」主題攝影作品的參考。 本創作經由26個主題49件「iseetaipei」臺灣台北生活日常為主題的敘事性攝影系列作品,透過於Instagram展示與展覽後研究結果發現: (1)以「傳統文化」、「日常生活」與「動物」三類作為創作的主題切入點,能使觀看者在進入創作者社群平台時較無壓力且親和力高;(2)在攝影的表現手法上,社群平台中透過系列影像,較容易表達出故事的深度以及廣度,同時也能快速讓觀看者能隨著連貫性場景、景象與生活元素進入情境以達到故事的聯想與訊息的傳遞;(3)敘事性攝影在拍攝時,若掌握主體與環境之間的構圖與互動關係,另在Instagram社群平台上發佈時,適度控制色調的統一性,能達到觀看者視覺的舒適度與質感提升;(4) 觀看者的分佈中以女性55.84%占多數,年齡層落在25-34歲之間,以按讚與留言比例結果顯示,與臺灣傳統飲食相關的主題內容為大眾最為喜愛的影像類型;(5) 掌握具有寓意的符號置入,能讓觀看者思考敘事性作品內容的意涵並達到省思的作用。

Storytelling is one of the methods to convey messages to people. In recent years, with the convenience of photography equipment and mobile phones, and the rapid development of use “social applications” released through the social network which have short narrative image. The way how people express a meaningful photography has widely different from what we know, and the mainstream way of exchange of information have become more widely imaginable productively without boundaries. This research, done by taking a series of photos through mobile phones, aims to discuss representation of narrative photography on Instagram. It can be concluded by the following parts. First, researching the representation of narrative photography, second, by case study, focusing on the narrative photography with high views and amounts of followers on social network during 2018 to 2019, and the winner in International competition , skip which need professional photography equipment or any need post-processing, selecting 13 narrative photographers who can conform to the next stage of the research, and analyzing from aspects , including style, location, concept, theme and the representation, to know characteristics of narrative photography in recent years, as the reference for the topic “iseetaipei”. Through a series of 49 narrative photographic works with 26 themes, "iseetaipei" and the theme of daily life in Taipei, Taiwan, after exhibition and post narrative photographic on Instagram , the study drew the following conclusions:1) With the "Traditional Culture", "Daily Life" and "Animal" as the theme of creation, can enables viewers to be less stressful and affinitive when entering the creator community platform. 2) The techniques of photography, use the series of images in the social platform, it is easier to express the depth and breadth of the story. 3) When creative narrative photographic work, if can control composition and interaction between the subject environment and the environment beside when narrative photographic post on Instagram need control the uniformity of hue, Can achieve viewers' visual comfort and texture improvement. 4) 55.84% of the women in the distribution of viewers, age group between 25-34 years old, according to thumbs up and message proportional on Instagram result display, with Taiwan's traditional food is the most favorite image type for viewer. 5) Mastering the symbolic placement with meaning allows the viewer to think about the meaning of the content of the narrative work and achieve the role of thought-provoking.
