天主教彌撒聖樂在耕莘文教院之呈現--以2016-2017年聖誕節期子夜彌撒為例

「彌撒」是天主教的祭天大典，彌撒禮儀中的聖樂，是禮儀本身的一部份。天主教彌撒聖樂是西方藝術音樂之起源，亦總是歷代作曲家尋求創作靈感的瑰寶。本篇論文以記錄耕莘文教院內古亭耶穌聖心堂的彌撒聖樂為研究起點，取2016年與2017年子夜彌撒為例，既聚焦於呈現彌撒現場聖樂的運作與取材方式，也尋本溯源探究耕莘文教院之所由來，以透徹音樂之精神內涵。論文第一章以設立耕莘文教院的「天主教耶穌會」為研究對象，探析該修會的創立與特色，以及如何輾轉傳教至中國與台灣；接下來在第二章中論及耶穌會早期在台之發展、耕莘文教院的設立，以及作為論文中彌撒聖樂場域的古亭耶穌聖心堂；第三章則書寫彌撒聖樂架構之形成，其與禮儀年之相互關係，並一窺2017年梵蒂岡子夜隆重彌撒之堂奧；論文第四章記錄分析了古亭耶穌聖心堂2016年及2017年子夜彌撒之曲譜；末於第五章歸納研究的成果。冀望今昔往來穿梭於耕莘文教院內聖堂的信友，藉此論文更加珍重教會音樂的歷史與意義，併介紹此間的彌撒聖樂與音樂歷史供學者更為明瞭耕莘文教院。

The “Mass” is a Catholic sacred liturgy, and sacred music in a mass is a part of the liturgy itself. The Catholic Mass is the origin of western art music, and always a treasure for composers in the past to seek inspiration. By recording sacred music of Guting Jesus Sacred Heart Catholic Church of Tien Educational Center as the starting point of this research paper, using the Midnight Masses in 2016 and 2017 as the examples, this paper not only focused on presenting the operation and materials of the sacred music at the mass venue, but the origin of Tien Educational Center was also traced, so as to thoroughly gain an insight into the spirit of the music. In Chapter 1 of this paper, the “Society of Jesus” that has established Tien Educational Center was adopted as the research subject to explore the founding and characteristics of the society and how the society spread from China to Taiwan; in Chapter 2, the early development of Society of Jesus in Taiwan, the establishment of Tien Educational Center, and the Guting Jesus Sacred Heart Catholic Church, the venue of the sacred music discussed in this paper, were mentioned; in Chapter 3, the formation of the sacred music structure and the interrelationship between that and the liturgical year were written, and a glimpse of the grandeur of the Vatican’s midnight mass was taken; Chapter 4 records and analyzes the scores of the midnight mass at the Guting Jesus Sacred Heart Catholic Church in 2016 and 2017; Chapter 5 summarizes the research results. It is hoped that through this paper, believers who have been to the church located in the Tien Educational Center in the past and the present will better cherish the history and significance of church music. In addition, the sacred music and the history of the music were introduced for scholars to better understand Tien Educational Center.
