有肢體障礙手足之大學生其手足關係與壓力研究

摘要


本研究旨在探討有肢體障礙手足之大學生其親密、競爭、相對地位、衝突之手足關係與手足整體壓力、個人困擾、照顧負擔、家庭問題壓力,並探討手足關係與手足壓力相關之情形。主要以網路問卷方式,透過全國性及縣市性有關服務肢體障礙者之社會福利機構或團體組織、各公私立大專校院及高中職,由有肢體障礙手足之大學生進行填答。 本研究以「有肢體障礙手足之大學生手足關係與壓力研究調查問卷」為研究工具,問卷分為「手足關係量表」、「壓力量表」、「資源協助問卷」、「基本資料」四部分,研究樣本計有104名有肢體障礙手足之大學生,在進行量化分析後,獲得以下研究結果: 一、以題平均數而言:手足關係親密及相對地位向度上有較高的情形,手足關係競爭及衝突向度上有較低的情形;整體壓力量表及個人困擾、照顧負擔、家庭問題壓力向度上,則均屬較低的情形。 二、除了不同出生序及不同見面頻率之有肢體障礙手足大學生在手足壓力,無顯著差異外,其他背景變項,在手足關係及手足壓力上,均呈現全部或部分有顯著差異之情形。整體而言,大學生暨其肢體障礙手足之各不同背景變項,多對手足關係與手足壓力有著或多或少的影響。 三、手足關係與整體手足壓力及照顧負擔手足壓力,研究結果無顯著相關,手足關係與個人困擾及家庭問題手足壓力,則分別呈現了中度及低度之相關。 四、有肢體障礙手足之大學生認為「政府機關」、「大專校院」、「民間機構及團體」可以分別提供的服務與協助措施,包括就業問題、經費資源、照顧人力、同理關懷、生活協助、諮商輔導、瞭解學生需求等的服務與協助措施。 最後,本研究針對研究結果,提供政府機關、大專校院或民間機構及團體相關建議,也提供未來相關研究者研究本議題時可以注意與研究的事項。 關鍵字:肢體障礙手足、手足關係、手足壓力

The purpose of this study is to explore the intimacy, rivalry, relative status, conflicting sibling relationship, and overall sibling stress of college students with a sibling having physical disabilities, as well as personal distress, caregiving burden, and family stress. The sibling relationship and sibling stress related situations were also explored. The online questionnaire method was mainly adopted. Through nationwide and countywide social welfare institutions, groups, or organizations with services offered to people with physical disabilities, public and private universities/colleges, and senior/vocational high schools, the questionnaires were filled out by college students with a sibling having physical disabilities. “Sibling Relationship and Sibling Stress of College Students with a Sibling Having Physical Disabilities Questionnaire” was adopted as the research tool in this study. The questionnaire was divided into four parts: “sibling relationship scale”, “stress scale”, “resource assistance questionnaire”, and “basic information”. The research samples comprise of 104 college students with a sibling having physical disabilities. After carrying out quantitative analysis, the following research results were obtained: 1. On average, sibling relationship intimacy and relative status showed higher dimensionality; sibling rivalry and conflict showed lower dimensionality and the overall stress scale and personal distress, caregiver burden, and family problems all showed relatively lower dimensionality. 2. For college students having a sibling with disabilities, other than differed birth order and frequency of meeting that showed no significant difference in sibling stress, the rest of the background variables either all or partly produced significant differences in terms of sibling relationship and sibling stress. Overall, the different background variables of the college students having a sibling with disabilities, to some extent, affected the sibling relationship and sibling stress. 3. As for sibling relationship, overall sibling stress, and sibling stress due to caregiver burden, results showed no significant correlation. The sibling relationship, personal distress, and sibling stress due to family problems showed a moderate and low correlation. 4. The college students with a sibling having disabilities believed that “government agencies”, “universities/colleges”, and “private institutions and groups” could provide separate services and assistive measures, including strategies countering employment problems, funding sources, care manpower, empathy care, living assistance, counseling and guidance, understanding student needs, and many others. Finally, targeting the research results, recommendations were proposed in this study for government agencies, universities/colleges, private institutions, and groups. Points to note and research items were also provided for follow-up researchers who intend to research on this issue in the future.
