孕之藝象──彭舒渝繪畫創作論述

本論述以「孕之藝象」為主題作為藝術創作系列研究，探討筆者於2010年至2011年因經歷十月妊娠和生產，並面臨腹中胎兒因罕見疾病「脈絡叢囊腫」(choroid plexus cyst,CPC)可能需流產的痛苦，面對這樣的經歷，筆者搭配感性的隨筆塗鴉與紀錄，運用畫筆把懷孕過程從好奇、期待、喜悅、憂傷、悲傷和痛苦……乃至於感恩與豐收的階段，一一以抽象繪畫的方式描繪出來。對筆者而言，藝術創作是探求當下的人生與生命意義，能藉由藝術作品呈現並記錄自我內心的思緒、想法，抒發對自身生活經歷的深刻感觸與省思。創作亦是認識與尋找自我的過程，可將原本潛藏在內心的意念與情感，表現於作品之中。本研究希望透過畫筆來記錄筆者孕期至生產的心理，透過其抽象塗鴉留下真實的紀錄。再經由中西方藝術家與當代藝術之作品探討，分析討論藝術家對「孕育」相關題材的創作風格與內涵。

This study is based on the topic of “The Artistic Imagery of Pregnancy.” The idea results from the one year of pregnancy of the writer from 2010 to 2011. Within this year, the writer suffered from facing the pain of losing her baby who was diagnosed as choroid plexus, cyst and is likely aborted. Owing to this painful experience, the writer decided to record the duration of pregnancy in the ways of sensible writing and paintings. In the abstract paintings painted by the writer, the curiosity, expectation, joy, sadness, and pain of the process of pregnancy are included. To the writer, artistic works are not only the process of exploring the meaning of life, but also the process of understanding ourselves. We can present our inner thoughts and the reflection of our life experience through the artistic works. Also, we can show our hidden emotion in the artistic works. This study is written to record the mentality during pregnancy to giving birth. The writer tries to keep the record through the abstract paintings and explore the difference between modern artistic works which are painted by either Eastern artists or Western artists and analyze the meaning and style of other works about “pregnancy.”
