社會運動抗爭現場公民記者的身份及實踐–以反課綱微調事件為例

本研究主要以2015年反課綱微調抗爭運動中，7月23日高中生夜襲教育部抗爭事件為例，以研究者實際參與經驗，加上對抗爭現場的採訪記者、參與抗爭行動的抗爭者及執勤的警察進行深度訪談，援引Pierre Bourdieu的場域理論和Erving Goffman戲劇理論作為分析取徑，輔以新聞報導和警方報告紀錄等資料做為文本分析，探討抗爭場合中，公民記者的概念如何被抗爭者、公民記者、機構記者及警察等不同群體所建構。研究作出以下結論：1.作為在抗爭場合影響公民記者採訪權最關鍵角色的警察，其視角中的階級由高而低依序為電視台記者、平面記者、公民記者、抗爭者；2.公民記者應該被視為是「抗爭的一環」，警察、機構記者、公民記者、抗爭者四者在對於公民記者「人人皆可為記者」、「記者可參與抗爭」的概念上，大致呈現從不認同到認同的光譜差異。造成此差異原因在於，警察和機構記者傾向將公民記者視為是基於採訪目的而進入抗爭現場，抗爭者和公民記者則傾向將公民記者視為是基於抗爭目的而進入抗爭現場；3.原本作為保障公民記者採訪權的採訪區制度因為「區域→身分→行為」三環節難以同時連動而難以落實，最能保障公民記者採訪權的「完全行為論」卻又因辨識成本過高也難以實行，現實情況只能回歸到「身分論為主，行為論為輔」；4. 公民記者作為一種現象，在抗爭現場要大量出現公民記者有三條件：抗爭人力基礎高、傳播技術低門檻、對主流媒體信任度低；5. 在Bourdieu的社會三階級框架中，傳統記者被放在中間位置的新小資產階級，而公民記者雖同稱記者，但因資本類型與數量與抗爭者相近，應與抗爭者一同被歸屬於無產階級。

This essay explores the transforming image of the journalist when covering demonstrations, which are compatibly constructed by protesters, other journalists (both citizen and professional) and police. In order to properly make my arguments, I choose the 2015 case titled the “Anti-Black Box Curriculum Movement”, with special focus on July 23, the day when senior high school students occupied the Ministry of Education. I borrow relevant concepts from both Pierre Bourdieu and Erving Goffmann to be the grounds of my analysis. My insider’s first-hand observation as an ‘arrested’ journalist and in-depth interviews of protesters, journalists and police are applied as research materials in my discussion. This essay concludes with a question mark as to the core value within the idea of citizen journalists – that ‘everyone is a journalist’. On the basis of distinct social classes, various purposes of being there and divergent interpretations of the event itself, the notion of what exactly makes a citizen journalist, therefore, is always transforming.
