論音樂劇《Daylight》角色韓晏芬之詮釋

本詮釋報告以躍演劇團中文原創音樂劇《Daylight》中之都會女角韓晏芬做角色分析與探討。本詮釋報告共分為六章。首章，講述研究動機以及研究架構。第二章分為兩節，第一節探究音樂劇《Daylight》的故事發想概念與故事背景，及創作群的介紹；第二節則是針對音樂劇《Daylight》的發想動機與其所談及的社會議題進行探討與分析。第三章分為三節，第一節為角色人物簡介與故事大綱；第二節介紹音樂劇《Daylight》的故事背景，其中也特別討論了劇中提及的同性戀、愛滋病相關議題，以及社會價值觀與自我實現在劇中的衝突；第三節則為此章的小結。第四章則是音樂劇《Daylight》之角色韓晏芬的分析，討論其角色背景以及在劇裡所面對之困境。第五章正式進入本論文的主題，筆者選了劇中十一首韓晏芬所演唱之曲目，就劇中故事發展，分析其演唱動機與待解決之衝突。第六章則就本文各章節之論述做總結，期許筆者將來若有機會詮釋此角色時，能夠更加了解並同理其心路歷程，做出精彩的詮釋選擇。

Structured in 6 chapters, this paper is an extensive record of how the character Han Yen-Fen was analyzed and portrayed in "Daylight", the original mandarin musical by VM Theatre company. Chapter one establishes the motive and framework of the study, then chapter two reveals the backstory before "Daylight" was written: first half of which introduces the concept, background, and the artists. And the second half talks about the social issues that stimulate the whole play. Chapter three contains three headings: firstly, the introduction of the characters and the story synopsis; second, the story background of "Daylight", especially about homosexuality issues and discussion on AIDS, and about the conflicts between social expectations and self-realization that most the characters in the play are faced with. And the third heading concludes the chapter. In chapter four, the analysis on Han Yen-Fen's background and struggles is presented. And chapter five goes to the key topic of this paper: the interpretation of the songs. Base on the storyline of 11 selected songs, I'll analyze the motivation and conflicts that Han is dealing with. Finally, chapter six concludes this paper, providing possible angles which I might continue to explore within this character. Hopefully with the empathy and experiences I had with Han, I can enrich my interpretations for more characters to come.
