幼兒園家長之親子共讀目標研究

摘要


本研究旨在探討幼兒園家長的親子共讀目標,以及父親、母親和不同社經地位的家長對親子共讀目標設定的差異情形。本研究採用改編後Evans & Williamson(2003)的「家長親子共讀目標問卷」來調查台灣家長之親子共讀目標。正式問卷以目前有進行親子共讀的大班幼兒父親以及母親為研究對象,採立意取樣的方式對台北市五個行政區以及新北市七個行政區蒐集樣本,有效問卷為590份。研究資料分析以描述性統計、獨立樣本T檢定和單因子變異數分析統計方法進行分析。本研究結論如下:1.幼兒園家長普遍對親子共讀目標的重視程度為次之重要,其中「刺激發展」向度為父親最重視的親子共讀目標,「情感聯繫」向度為母親最重視的親子共讀目標,「安撫」向度同為父母親重視程度較低之親子共讀目標;2.母親在「情感聯繫」和「享樂」向度上的重視程度均高於父親,且母親與男性幼兒共讀時,會較重視與孩子的情感連結和孩子在過程中能享受閱讀;3.低社經和中社經家長對「安撫」向度之重視程度高於高社經家長。

The purposes of this study were to investigate kindergarten parents’ goals of shared book reading and to discuss the differences of fathers’ and mothers’ goals of shared book reading and parents’ goals of shared book reading among different socioeconomic status. Parents’ Goals for Shared Reading Questionnaire (Evans & Williamson,2003) was adapted for this present study. The samples of the study included 590 kindergarten parents of five or six-year-old preschoolers, and these parents are reading and sharing books with their kids at home. Statistical methods applied in this study were descriptive statistics, independent sample T-test and one-way ANOVA. Findings of this study were listed below: 1. kindergarten parents all rated goals of shared book reading highly. The goal of Stimulate Development was more highly rated by fathers, and the goal of Bond with Child was more highly rated by mothers. 2. The goals of Bond with Child and Enjoy Books were more highly rated by mothers than by fathers. Mothers who were sharing book reading with boys place more emphasis on the goals of Bond with Child and Enjoy Books. 3. The goal of Soothe Child was more highly rated by parents with a low SES and middle SES than parents with a high SES.
