This study is based on social exchange theory and social learning theory, it aims to examine the relationship between authentic leadership and extra-role behavior and to explore the mediating role of psychological ownership. In this study, we use a sample 278 employees from businesses, and then the methods of correlation analysis and multiple regressions are used to verify the research hypothesis. It is found that authentic leadership is positively related psychological ownership, helping behavior and voice behavior. In addition, the results show that organization-based psychological ownership mediates the relationship between authentic leadership and voice behavior, job-based psychological ownership mediates the relationship between authentic leadership and helping behavior. According to our finding, we provide theoretical and practical suggestions for supervisor in organization and researcher.
