This study used qualitative research methods to discuss on views of seafood (this refers to shellfish) contain microplastic among fish farmers (producers), consumers, and experts&scholars. In order to ensure in-depth exploration of the differences between the ideas of microplastics compared to the three ethnic groups, in-depth interviews will be adopted in this research. The interviewees included experts & scholars doing the research related to plastic microparticles and shellfish farmers in Taiwan. Simple questionnaires are used to understand general consumer thoughts. The results can be found through the triangular anchored cross-comparison analysis of individual cases, and in-depth understanding of the knowledge, attitudes and behavior model of producers, experts and consumers regarding the issues of microplastic.
