摘要

在全球化的影響之下,高等教育的國際化已為必然之趨勢,科技大學身為我國技職體系之高等教育機構,自無法置身於此浪潮之外;而在推動高等教育國際化的過程中,學生國際流動為我國招募國際學生與人才培育的重要環節。
是故,本研究在此背景之下,致力於探討我國高等教育國際化之學生流動,並以我國一所科技大學為研究範圍,以校內十四位具國際流動經驗之本國學生與國際學生為研究對象,運用訪談方法進行半結構化訪談,並輔以文件分析法探討個案科技大學學生國際流動之決定因素、困境與策略。
綜合研究分析與討論,本研究之結論如下:
一、境外國家之學術聲望與學術品質為影響我國學生國際流動之主要決定因素。
二、母國缺乏高等教育入學機會,以及低經濟成本因素為影響國際學生來臺流動之主要決定因素。
三、本國學生進行國際流動所面臨之主要困境為高昂的經濟成本、學分採認困難、外語能力限制以及國際流動資訊不足。
四、國際學生來臺流動所面臨之主要困境為國際流動資訊不足,導致學生選擇高等教育機構與系所時面臨困難。
五、暢通國際流動管道與資訊、強化學生外語能力,並提供經濟補助應為推動我國學生國際流動之首要策略。
六、發展大學專業學術領域與招生特色,並提供完善的入學資訊為招募國際學生之首要策略。

Under the effects of globalization, the internationalization of higher education is now a growing trend, and universities of science and technology are surely involved. During the process of internationalization of higher education, student mobility is the key of recruiting international students and nurturing talents. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to explore the determinants, the difficulties, and the strategies of student mobility in the university of science and technology. A public university of science and technology in Taiwan was intentionally chosen as a case study, and the research data was collected through interviewing fourteen students who have the experience of international mobility.
The major research results and conclusions are as follows:
1.Academic reputation and quality are main determinants of the international mobility of students in Taiwan.
2.The opportunities and the affordable tuition of Taiwan’s higher education are main determinants attracting foreign students.
3.Financial cost, credit recognition, language ability and lack of information are main barriers of international mobility of students in Taiwan.
4.Lack of information is the main barrier of international mobility of foreign students.
5.Strengthen students’ language ability, offer scholarships, and provide more international mobility information and opportunities are key strategies of encouraging students in Taiwan to study abroad.
6.Develop universities’ own academic features and provide more information are key strategies of recruiting foreign students.
